So I have made it through the 7 day pre-op diet! Whoo-hoo one hurdle down.. But I think the excitement of it all has contributed to my small success! 9lbs down! Tomorrow is the big day as I will be banded and headed towards the next step of my journey! I am so grateful that this website exsist as I can feel myself being motivated by everyone success! It sad to say but everyone does not understand my decision to be banded thus they are not lending any support. But I will press on because the life of obesity is seldomly understood.

It's sad about the lack of support. My husband is not THAT supportive but he is more insecure about this than anything so he could feel his emotions and get over it because I am tired of being tired. As a matter of fact he asked me if I would like BBQ's tonight. I wanted to slap him. (Although, he is being playful.) I wanted to slap. But I will lose the weight and if can get over his jealousy he'll see that it's just me loving him right back.

I also am using this surgery to test who really loves me. The people who have sat me down and said I am concerned about your weight are the people who love me. This is a tool to help you lose weight and negative people. There is no space for negative people when you are making a transformation of the mind, body and soul!

Yeah, banded!!! And the journey begins! I wish you a fast recovery. Take it easy and don't over-do-it your first week. I had to lay on my back to sleep, and I'm a side sleeper! I'm so excited for you!

Good luck, we are al here for you. If you dont wake up from your surgery with an abdominal binder on, find a way to get to a drugstore and get one! It makes a big diiference in your first week because it hols your tummy in. I couldnt have slept on my side without it! It holds everything in place so you dont get that pulling feeling! Good luck, youll do great!!

Oh WoW thank you for all your support and well wishes it truly makes a difference. I am still pressing on Xavier I wish I would have stopped through and read your post before surgery eggghh!!! I am a side and tummy sleeper as well but I am back to work and doing well!!! Margarita Press On the liquid diet is over faster then you think and your surgeon will defn appreciate your petite liver! LOL
