sooo everything went really well today and i am banded:thumbup: i cant believe how nervous i was and it wasn't nearly as bad as i was expecting soo i guess thats a good thing! i was in the hospital for 12 hrs from arrival until i got home...(only 20mins away) My surgeon Dr.Kaul was amazing and made me feel so comfortable. im just sore now and taking things slow. so happy to have started my journey! thanks for all the goodwishes!:wink:

I am there with ya. I was banded last Friday. Today (tuesday) I felt comfortable enough to drive. So it won't be long before the soreness STARTS to go away. I had to force things down the first three days because I was not hungry or thirsty. FORCE IT ANYWAY. Water, Water, and more WATER.

Congratulations! I was surprisingly extremely hungry my first week after surgery. I felt like I was constantly eating. But I still lost weight! Take it easy girl! Wishing you a fast recovery!
