How could I POSSIBLY be gaining weight????

I was banded 4 weeks ago. This past week I have gained 3 pounds! I have not cheated once! Here's what I ate yesterday (which is basically how I eat every day) and gained a pound

 

Breakfast

1 egg

1 light laughing cow cheese

 

Lunch

3 thin slices of ham with mustard (no bread)

raw veggies

 

Dinner

4 oz. of Salmon

 

Afternoon Snack

Pear

2 oz. cheese

PLESE HELP! I am so frustrated and sad!!

3 lbs?

what about your work out schedule?

and stop beating yourself up, you're doing fine from looking at your menu...

and btw, did you eat the salmon fried? baked?broiled? smothered in butter? LOL (kidding)

it'll be alright..just keep your head up..look at the over all picture, have you lost anything at all? I've heard its normal to gain bit of weight...thats my 2 cents..:huh2:

I believe you are not eating enough!!! You need to increase your protein amount. If I'm not mistaken we need at least 60 grams of protein. I think you "may" be getting in around 40. Our bodies go into starvation mode when we don't supply the correct foods. Ask your doctor what your menu should be. Good luck!
