Hi Guys!

This Presurgical diet has me sooo sick! I have experienced the worst headaches,nausea, and some vomitting! Im sure its because of the hunger and lack of carbs and other nutrients but geeeez how long does this last??? Will I have this feeling after surgery???? Please someone help!:blink:

It is a common side effect of your body switching from an ATP-based energy burn to a keytone-based one, which is what is supposed to happen when you are on your pre-op diet and your body is starved of sugars. It sucks but it's not forever. After surgery you'll go back to an ATP-based metabolism when you start eating a more normal diet again and it shouldn't be a problem.
