I had my lap band surgery today!!!! I went in at 10:30, Surgery at noon, and home by 7:00 pm. apparently, I had to spend 3 hours in recovery due to my blood pressure dropping a little low.....they gave me IV fluids and that did the trick. I have some pain, but not too bad right now.....none of the gas pain that i thought i would have.....knock on wood that it all stays the way it is today......

So glad to have joined the bandsters!!!

Take care and rest your body you will need the time to recover. It took me a while I am a slow healer. I also just needed some down time for me. This is your time to take care of yourself. The journey has begun and you will see the mystery unfold everyday I have a huge smile on my face this morning and I have never felt better in my entire life. I am now 17 weeks post op, down 60 plus pounds, had my third fill and everyone says I am half of my self and they all want to know how I did it.
