It has been 3 weeks since surgery and I have another 3 weeks until I get my first fill. I've lost 16 pounds total, which includes the weight I lost on my liquid diet. I am ready to get my first fill so I can see some "real" weight loss. I can still pretty much eat what I want, but I do get fuller faster and have been trying to watch what I eat but it's still hard at times. I think the whole "not drinking while eating" is a big one for me. I have taken sips but just need to cut it out period. I love this website, it's great to read everyone's thoughts and comments and hear how great everyone is doing. I hope you all keep up the good work. Good luck and God Bless. :thumbup:

I am three weeks post op too. My first fill will be next week on Friday, like you I am excited to see some real weight loss. I have lost around 15 pounds but I am hungry most of the time but LOVE my BAND! and very excited about losing weight. Good luck

I am about 4 weeks out and I will have my first fill on November 9th. I too have a hard time with not drinking anything while eating. It's harder than I thought. I am finally just not getting anything to drink out at all until 30 minutes after eating. I find that I am thirstier then. I have noticed that my weight loss has slowed so I am looking forward to my first fill to help me not be able to eat as much. Good luck! Let me know how your fill goes so I can know what to expect. I am kinda nervous about it.

I am 4 weeks out and will get my first fill on 10/28/09 and can't wait, because I don't seem to get full , but just stop eating so I won't over eat. I have lost about 14 lbs but glad to see that gone.
