One week from today I will be having my lap-band surgery!!! I am so excited. I had my upper GI study done yesterday, and did all my pre-admission stuff at the hospital today. They did an EKG, blood work, and a chest x-ray! So, now just 6 more days of my pre-op liquid diet......I've lost 5 pounds (cause I cheated one day)......more to come. This is quite a journey and I am ready to move foward with!!!! I know there are several folks I have talked to recently that are having surgery this week and next....good luck to you all. talk to you soon!!!!

Good luck to you. I remember those days before. It is a very exciting time. Remember to take the time you need to heal after the surgery. This has been an amazing 14 weeks for me. I cant belive how fast 14 weeks has gone by. I have lost 60 pounds. I look like someone else, when I look in the mirror. If you think you are happy now just wait until 14 week post surgery and see how HAPPY you are. I am on my own little cloud. I love playing with my band. I had my third fill this past Monday and I am waiting for it to kick in. Best wishes. imaluckydog
