So what a great weekend. I exercised allot, went hiking and long walks. It felt great.

My lap band nurse just emailed me and wants to do the fill tomorrow. I am kinda nervous and super excited. I was so hungry yesterday. Exercise = ravished! I ate two small fajitas the other day. That's almost twice what I was eating 2-3 weeks ago. So yeah I am ready. I also have been eating pasta without any incedent, I read that I shouldn't be able to do this after a fill? Is this true  I love my whole wheat pasta.

Any sage advice for my first fill? I was told not to eat after a certain time.

Pasta and bread will start becoming gummy. It tends to stick so be careful.

The advice given to me on my first fill was not to look down. LOL Seeing the needle sticking out of your stomach might make you queasy.

I've had four fills and I am still able to eat pasta. Bread is a little rough if it's not toasted or if I don't take little bitty bitty bites.

The first fill is pretty easy, for me I just laid there and the doctor felt around a minute for my port and then numbed me and then the fill needle, a total of about 30 seconds if that. I felt a little restriction but not a lot.

Sage advice...Don't stress over it.

Good luck!

I watched a youtube video that is a big needle. I don't think I will look down.
