I am sooo proud of myself because I have not yet to throw my food back up.. after I got off work this evening I came home and weighed myself..HOW DID I GAIN 3LBS????!!!!! I am now back up to 208..OMG!!! what went wrong???? now im sitting here starving and eating a chicken salad..Can someone explain to me WHAT THE HECK HAPPED???

Promise yourself and stick to it that " I WILL NOT WEIGH MYSELF EVERYDAY"

Set a date for yourself, maybe once a week, or every 10 days. You will have more motivation and something to look forward and avoid mentally toutruring yourself by the numbers everyday which may make you so upset and cause you to go eat more. Believe me it's a cycle for all of us until you face it and put a stop to it!

Ok now I feel like I am DR. Phil. Hang in there and don't give up, start a NEW NIGHT :( and take care

I agree Katie. I weigh myself once a week. I keep track and I can see progress. Don't starve yourself. Surely you know from your history of dieting that it won't work. You'll get discouraged and start overeating and what good will that do.

OK, I'm a Scale Whore, so I can't help you there (SWA Member), but you need to track your calories for a few days. If you're getting less than about 800 or so, you'll go into 'Starvation Mode'. Your body thinks there's a famine and it slows your metabolism to hang onto every calorie. Keep the calories up to at least 1000 and get in enough SOLID protein and you won't be so hungry. Best wishes -BG
