I had the LAP-BAND®®® surgery on 6/16/09. In 3 months and 1 week I have lost 75lbs! I'm half way home! This is a video of my LAP-BAND®®® experience. To say this has changed my life would be an understatement. Cosmeticare in Newport Beach California was absolutely incredible! If you want the best call them up and go talk about it with the nicest people you will ever meet.

I want to share this with anyone who is in need of this procedure. Addicted to food? ME! If I couldn't eat it I'd sit on it! Everything in my life was so hard to physically do. Trouble even sleeping. Frustrated...me, miserable....me, tired all the time...me... GONE GONE GONE!!!

If you want to lower health care cost the government should just pay for Lap Bands for all who need them! Diabetes cut in half, Heart Disease...half...etc. Just my opinion...can you tell I am SCREAMING WITH JOY regarding the LAP-BAND®®®?

I've been told I am losing more than most people...BUT IT'S SO EASY! I'm NEVER hungry...just me? My cravings are gone...just me? The key to the LAP-BAND®®® I believe is looking at it as if it's a gift and not fight it. I took on this to save my life... it's that important. I realise now the world is SO much bigger than food!

I am so so happy for you. You seem like such a nice person. I just had mine done 5 days ago. Not sure how much I can eat without getting sick. I tried to eat a small bite of a scrambled egg and got very nausous, so I took the meds the Dr gave me that prevent you from getting sick. I guess I have to learn by trial and error. It has only been 5 days so I have a lot to learn. I hope I do as good or even half as good as you do. God bless you and your family. Deann

Thank you so much!:tt1: I couldn't hold anything down except for popcicles, juice and water the first 7 days. It will get so much better. I have trouble tolerating eggs too.

But I'm so proud of you taking this huge step into a new life! It will change you forever. There is SO much more than food in this world. And we still can enjoy food! Just very very slowly!
