So i was banded on 9-1-09, ive been doing quite well besides me just being bored with eating eggs and drinking protein shakes. my dietian states i should wait until friday to try ground meat. im very nervous about eating because ive lost 20 pounds and just do not want to gain it back. any ideas and what i should do?? oh and also ive lost 20 pounds by the scale and still wear the same size, some people see the change but others dont. At what point should i start seeing changes in myself and clothes sizes?

I was surprised by how long I was still wearing my plus sized clothes, even though the scale was moving down. But what I found is that when I tried on smaller sizes, they did fit(yay). This was at around 30 pounds lost. Good luck to you!

it NORMAL to gain a few lbs of your initial weight loss back since obvioulsy you are going to be started to eat more normally again soon...

don't worry though. things will smooth out. i lost 20 the 1st weeks after surgery, gained 4, and now have lost another 12 at 3 months out.

ps: try some yogurts, custard, puree some clam chowder or some other chunky soup you love...
