Today is Saturday and I was banded on Thursday. Thursday sucked, and each day is getting better. I'd like to say that has a large part to do with my recovery team - my bf and his mom. I'm getting the best post-op care possible.

I took off my bandages last night and had a shower, the staples were nerve-racking. What will this look like afterward? My caregivers inspected closely and stated my incisions looked really good and I may come out of this with minimal scarring. Good to know.

I'm drinking out of shot glasses once evey 20 minutes or so; no one trusts me with a big glass and letting me pace myself.

Questions though, with all the incisions - where does one place the seat belt when driving or riding in a car? And what about wearing a bra (I have an incision between my breasts where my bra would be at)?

Any help is appreciated!
