Diagnosed as being anemic following lap band installation
I had my lap band installed about a year and a half ago. I was just recently informed by my Doctor that I was showing up as being anemic following my most recent lab work.
I was referred to a Gastro Intestinal Doctor to have a scope placed in my stomach to see if there was any evidence of internal bleeding? No sign of internal bleeding however it was noted that my red cell count, white cell count and platelet were all three running "low"
I am now going to see a blood specialist at the local cancer Center this coming Wednesday to try to determing the cause of these low readings????
Has anyone out there experienced this problem after lap band installation????
