Here it is...Monday again. Here's what's on my mind today - feel free to add yours.

1. It's still hot - 100+ degrees everyday in Texas. I sweat like a pig when I try to do anything outside. I hate it.:sad:
   
2. I'm ready for Fall decorations.
   
3. I haven't lost any weight this past week. My BMI is now 34 which moves me from severly obese, to just obese. Somehow, that makes me feel better.
   
4. Went out to eat with hubby Saturday night - had enough leftovers for 2 more meals. But I finished part of it later, when we got home.:thumbup:
   
5. I did order a diet water - what the hell is diet water???
   
6. School started today for my 16 year old. Woot! She hasn't been up before 10AM all summer. Her alarm went off at midnight - she set it wrong - and started to get ready. She thought it was dark outside because it was 6:30 AM.
   
7. My mom finished her brain radiation, and has been very tired. She is not as alert and sharp as she usually is, as her brain continues to swell with from the radiation.
   
8. But...kudos to her for getting up every morning, putting on full makeup, fluffing her wig, putting on her jewelry and clothing and saying "SCREW CANCER!!! At least I'm going to look good!"
   
9. I've learned this from my mom in the past few weeks - and that is: to not hold postmortems. Not to spend my life brooding over past mistakes and failures. So, I'm not going to spend any more time lamenting that I've been fat for so long - I'm going to celebrate getting thinner and healthier - even if I make mistakes along the way. I invite you all to do the same.
   
10. I watched the Miss Universe pagaent last night and wonder if those girls ever eat. I mean, come on. You can see ribs. I have never been able to see my ribs.
    
11. I still haven't won the lottery, so I'm working today.
    
12. I heard someone say this weekend that they were so fat, they could sell shade.
    
13. Christmas is a mere 4 months away.
    
14. I love my lap band family and although I don't obsess about reading all the comments every few hours like I did initially, it's still comforting knowing you are all there.

Girl friend my little band buddy so glad to hear from you. I have been on vacation for a while now. Getting ready for the kids to go back to school. I am sick, did I say SICK of doing laundry my kids wear five outfits a day. I am not doing any more!!!! That's it.

I just love the person who is so fat they could sell shade. I already started my Christmas shopping I can't believe it but I did!!!! Thanks again for helping me to keep my paws out of the cookie jar. I am going for a fill on August 26, boy do I need one. I still can eat just about any thing. I'd try horse but I know thats just not RIGHT. Only kidding. I can eat like one that's for sure. Welll here is my two cents......

1. Its Monday....enough said!

2. Did I mention it's Monday?

3. I have to go to work today after being off for a week after surgery...:thumbup:

4. I am still hungry all the time even though I have been banded for a full week now!

5. For the past 3 or 4 days I wake up in the middle of the night in pain because my pouch is empty and I have to quicky, but slowly eat a yougart to make the pain go away:sneaky:

6. My girlfriend at work said that she can tell that I have lost weight in my face:rolleyes2:

7 I had soup for the what seems like 100th time for lunch today:crying:

8. My belly is only sore at the port site now

9. I put on some pants this morning and they fit a little looser than normal!

10. I am so tired of hearing about Michael Jackson...I mean it's a shame he died but please let the poor man rest in PEACE

11. I love this Website!

I forgot to say that I love the Millionaire game show, and I felt so sorry for the poor guy last night who almost won, but missed the million dollar question and dropped down to $25,000. Poor schmuck.

I love your mom's attitude and now yours! You two are definately winners!!
