I am a 38 yr old female and 7 days preop. I am a little nervous but I am ready to get on with the surgery. My biggest concern is that I have a hiatal hernia. I had my first hiatal hernia surgery in 2000. I am hoping my surgeon does not have to convert to an open surgery for me. Keep me in your prayers.

Hi, I had a hiatal too and during the LB surgery they will take care of it. It is no biggy.. My Dr. said he sees a lot of them. I did not even know I had one!!!, he fixed it while he was in there. I had had a larger hernia he fixed two months before I had LB. I got my LB on June 29 and had my first hernia surgery in April. I am 7 weeks post op and have never felt better in my life.
