wow...your blog just some up eating out for me nearly perfectly. So much so to the point that I was getting nervous reading it. The only difference is that where you can control yourself from throwing up... I can't! The minute I eat it doesn't matter how well I chew, or how slow I eat or how little of a bit I take, it will still come up with slime and all. Its so embarrassing that Iam pretty sure my friends think I have an eating disorder or something because of the constand going to the bathroom while at meals. I haven't told maybe people about the LB either, and I don't plan on telling them. This makes things much harder when trying to eat so now I just aviod eating in front of people, if I can. I just got a fill on thursday (8/6) I did 2 days liquids and 2 days mushies and Im back to soilds. I went to Penera Bread with my mom and brother and decided to have the cream of broccoli soup...even that came up! But that was the first thing I ate all day so Im thinking I was just really tight at the time. right now Im still sticking to protein shakes... and lost 4lbs since thursday. (its now monday(8/10).

BG Great blog!! I love Dining out....I am going out to dinner tonight. Yippee, I am going to remember to take the smallest bites possible and chew to beat the band. I have had a ton of restriction after my first fill. I am doing so much better now, than a few days ago. I have been keeping to softer foods and not taking any chances. I do not like the "you know what" feeling at all.

I so can identify with not wanting to leave a good bite of food on my plate, I just want to eat it so badly. But after I take the bite I am so so so sick it just sort of ruins the meal for myself. Thanks so much for sharing and have a nice day. Kathy imaluckydog

I survived. I wanted to eat everything. It was soooo hard. I brought in my enzymes and did not need them Thank God! Got all dressed up and I "ate small to be small" Took my time and waited in between bites. Hard to do VERY hard to do. Thanks for the advice it sure did help me tonight. I feel great, I looked GREAT. I even had room for the fresh fruit for dessert. Yes, I had to have the whipped cream. It was wonderful. I was worried and I made out just fine and I even have lunch for tomorrow.

imaluckydog to have a friend like you ;-)

I can relate to the being asked if you liked the food in a restaurant...

What bothers me the most is not ordering something to drink.. not even water. I dont mind anymore, as I've adjusted to that part of my life, but the waiters pester! Sometimes to the point of harrassment! No, I dont want anything to drink. No, not even water.

See if its in front of me, i'm tempted. Makes me crazy that they just wont let it go! Ha ha!
