Ok this has to be the craziest thing ever… talking to strangers about my “personal” stuff. Here’s the deal. I haven’t had a bowel movement since before my surgery (7/16). So basically it’s been TWO WEEKS! I saw my doctor a week after surgery and everything was great. He asked if I had a BM and I said no. He said to try Metamucil, which I did for the past week and NOTHING!

Now I’m desperate! Does anyone know of anything I can take to help? I know I would feel a whole lot better if I could get the yucky stuff out of my system. I feel bloated, tired and sickly. I should feel great right now.

Hey the personal stuff is what were here for! You need a prescribed laxative I think!! On the other hand you probably havent been putting that much in the system so there's less to come out! But its more than 10 days and you're feeling bloated so call your doc or ask the pharmacist what the best stuff is at the drugstore! Good luck...lets us know how things 'go'!

Honey, get used to telling all that personal stuff. Before you know it, we'll be all up in your biz. We're all family here, sweetie, so it's all good. You need to be poopin'! Call your doc and tell him/her that nothing's happening. They'll fix you up.

I use MIRILAX! I use it every day in my protein shake! Trust me it works!!!!

Try milk of magnesia. It works for me!
