I had my banding in May 08. I started out at 270 lbs. I am now down to 175 but seem to be stuck. I have 7cc in my band I think. Last time went to the doc he would not do a fill because I had lost five lbs since last visit. I am stuck at where I am at right now. I exercise an hour a day six days a week, eat healthy but appear to be stuck. Sometimes I think I can hold more than I should. I really need some advise on this if anyone is having the same problem. It is so discouraging.:cursing:

Sounds like you hit your plateu. Google P90X and you will learn more about muscle confusion. U need to change your work outs some and work different muscles. Also I heard that at least once a week you can eat any thing you want so you can shock your body. I'm not sure about that part so you may want to ask your doctor. Now the muslce confusion part I'm sure of. And if you read P90X you will learn more. You don't have to buy the DVDs like I did (they are expensive) lol, but u will see what I'm talking about. Also you may want to workout 5 days a week instead of 6 because your musles need to rest. Good luck on your journey. I understand how you feel. I been there.

O by the way. I have about 8 ccs in my band.

Sarah is right, you HAVE to change up your workout! Change it each week and each day. 1 day I will ride my elliptical as ahrd as I can for 10 mins, the next day, very steady for 30-45 mins. Some days alternanting from hard as I can to steady each minute or every 2 minutes. There have been many months of plateus for me and then all of a sudden 1 month doing the same thinga as always, I'll drop 10-15 lbs out of nowhere! Everyone's body is different. Just try some new things. Good luck!
