Day 6---- I FINALLY GOT ALL MY WATER IN!

Wow, 2 days in a row are monumental! Here's my strategy for the day and it worked.

 

Breakfast: 8 AM- grits watered down with milk and splenda....mmmmmmmm

 

drink 16.9 oz of water in 2 hours

 

10 AM Protein Shake

 

drink 16.9 oz of water

 

Noon: Lunch 4 oz cup of SF pudding

 

drink 16.9 oz of water

 

I was so full of water I didn't have my shake till 3 PM

 

5 PM: dinner-- tomato soup with milk YUM!

 

drink 16.9 oz of water---I had Crystal light this time.

 

At 7:30 is when I always get my munchies, old habits die hard! Well I found my new Savior food! SF FUDGECYCLES! uh huh, yup. I eat atleast 3 a day!:tt1:;):blink::thumbup:

 

Anyway, that's my schedule, and it actually worked! I'm going to try that every day. I'm not shaky like I was last night because I got all my water in. I also ordered Unjure? is that right? Anyway, you guys told me to add the unflavored into stuff so i get more protein in. So I'm looking forward to getting those samples:thumbup:

That is great! I have been struggling to get all mine in. I broke down today because I am getting hungry and ate 2 oz. of mashed potatoes. Is that bad? I was told liquid for the first 7 days but I have been reading different posts and it seems depending on your surgeon, your dietary requiremements are different. I do need more protein. I have to step that up!

WOW, that sounds like alot of food! thanks for the memu ideas. i will be having my surgery tomorrow and was wondering how i am going to fit all the water and protein in daily. i did check out GNC.com and found that Isopure has a varity pack with 6 differnt flavors. i am thinking that i am going to drink alot of these since they have like 40 or 50 grams of protein in them. hope they taste good.
