It's been 1.5 yrs since my surgery and I have lost 85 lbs and gained lots of muscle! Feeling the best I have ever felt in my life! I am now in a size 18 and LOVE being able to shop in the "Misses" dept, instead of "plus Size". This was the best decision i ever made! :thumbup:

Good for you! I was just banded on Monday and read one of your comments. It was very encouraging to those of us starting out. I hope you continue to progress and can't wait until I can drop the plus sizes, too. Good luck and thanks for the comments.

Hello, My surgery was July 13, 2009. How long does it take for the ache near my upper rib cage to go away? My post-op visit is Monday, Aug 3. Can you feel your port? I think I can feel mine on my right side?

Way to go!! You are an inspiration to us all! I was banded in 2006 and am "being reborn". Went rouge for 3 years ago "cause I thought I could do it on my own--NOT". But am getting back on track now!
