:confused:Hi, I am starting with my orientation through Kaiser in Panorama City on July 21st. Has anyone taken the orientation or dealt with Kaiser in Southern California lately? It is my understanding that they sub out thier WLS to UCLA, is this correct? I have been trying to find any and all information that I can on Kaiser and UCLA. I know they both have informational classes but since I have to go through Kaisers as they are my insurance group do I also have to go through UCLA's? I have so many questions. I have a BMI of 52 and several medical issues (Pseudotumor Cerebri, HBP, Type 2 Diabetes, PCOS and declining kidney function to name a few) that I have read are co-morbitities for having WLS. Does anyone know if Kaiser does a fast track or must you jump through all the hoops to have surgery? I don't mind hoop jumping, I just want to know what I am in for. I would appreciate any feedback. Thank you.[/color']
I feel lost in this right now, so any help would be great.
