First post op doctor visit

Day 10 post op. Lost 2 pounds from pre-op weight. Wounds are closing a little slow. He left stitches intact. Have to stay out of work for a couple more weeks due to the lifting part of my job.Some how I'm not sad about that. :crying: Doc wants me to stay on liquid diet til friday. He says once I add more carbs into my diet weight loss with slow down. Walking two miles a day now. Have to get up early because its too hot and humid by 9 am. I have a bit of a routine now.

AM meal: Carnation instant breakfst drink 13 grams of protein.Sugar free (SF)

Hour later: Cream of wheat with butter and salt/pepper

Lunch: Soup favorite right now is Tomato bisque by campbell's only able to eat 1/2 can

Snack in early afternoon; SF pudding or sf popscicle

Dinner: rest of the tomato soup. 1/2 scoop of low fat SF ice cream

In between meals all day I drink 1.5 bottles isopure in order to get in protein. 40 grams per bottle

I get 2 snacks a day. My caloric intake is about 820 per day. I can hardly wrap my mind around that low number because I'm not hungry between meals.
