Hi All,

I got banded in Hurst, TX on Friday the 5th. I have over 100 pds. to lose. I was in and out of the surgical center within 4 hours. After the 45 min ride home I began to feel the pain in my left shoulder and breast. It was so painful! Plus the soreness of my surgery in my belly. It was difficult gettting comfy in any position. I got up every two hours to walk around the house and go to the bathroom. Started running low grade fever (100.3) around 7pm. I was taking my antibodic and pain liquid vicodin as prescribed. Still in pain and not feeling like I would of done this procedure if I knew of this type of pain. It's hard to breath. And hard to get up from a sitting or laying down position. Has anyone felt the same?

I was banded May 1st so still remember how I felt. I also had a hiadius hernia repaired and that's where most of the pain came from so ask you doctor if he did the repair as you will feel it mostly in the chest. The shoulder pain from the gas was also uncomfortable, but tolerable. Just walk around and get that gas out and if you can find the GASX strips...take them. It'll be well worth it and so glad I did the banding.

Good Luck (also drink lots of water)
