7.09.07: two year wedding anniversary

Dear Plumpy Pad,   So today is my anniversary, and with that being said, it is also a day I usually equate with eating anything I want because IT'S A CELEBRATION!   Hubby and I still had a nice meal together, it was just much smaller than usual! In the last two days I have averaged 600 calories a day, and that makes me happy. I feel okay, I'm not starving!   Tonight I am going swimming to complete the second hour of my 20 hours of exercise in July. I'm 10% of the way there with 22 days left... I really can do this!   Nothing else to say right now, other than it is less than two days until I go to see the new Harry Potter movie!!   CHEERS! :whoo:

7.08.07: starting out right...

Dear Plumpy Pad,   This morning I woke up, and went to the gym. I got on the treadmill, and initially set myself up to do an hour. I could have done an hour, but I just got bored... I did a half-hour instead. I went just over a mile, and when I quit walking my legs sure felt rubbery.   After walking, I wandered around some of the equipment. I used the machines I could figure out and fit on. I came home and sent my hubby out to buy me some alphabet soup... however he got the kind in chicken broth!!   I have yet to eat anything today, and I feel good. Hungry, but good. I am going to have some soup in a bit. I have decided that to keep things fresh, I am going to stop at Publix on the way home from work everyday and buy my dinner. A can of soup, a lean cusine, etc... If I buy a bunch to have on hand, I will eat it all in one sitting. I know me.   I'm planning on going to the gym with my hubby tomorrow morning before work. Not something I plan on doing all the time, but something I think will help me start my week out right!

7.07.07: Seminar in Tampa

Dear Plumpy Pad,   So this morning at 10AM I was introduced to the wonderful world of the lap-band. I went to the seminar totally focused on gastric bypass, but the lap-band procedure seems much less invasive and safer. It also has nearly the same success rate.   I weighed myself, 334.8 lbs. I'm going to just say I weigh 335. I have also set a mini-goal for myself to work out at least 20 hours in the month of July. I only have twenty-four days left, so I need to get crackin'.   Please keep this up Bridget. Please continue to research the lap-band, but in the meantime... pull off some pudge.
