So, here it is Friday morning June 22. I am 3 days post op now, and am ready to either find a bullet to bite on, or find a bullet then possibly a gun to put it in & shoot myself with LOL:biggrin1: But I know it's gonna get better right????? It is gonna get better rrriiiiigggghhhhhttttt?????
So, must start walking more, got to get this air out of my body.I sorta look like a big old hot air balloon.:hurt Ok, so enough about my pain.......I am about to call my Dr. to see how long the bandages are to stay on. And if anyone read this, & can honestly say things are gonna get way way better, please let me know. I'm sure , in my mind anyway, that things will start to get better soon, but it's just kinda nice to hear it from others who have went throught this already.
OK, well have a happy day,
Tammie, alias Tgirl:)
Ok, well let's see, Arrived at hospital at 5:00 A.M.. on the morning of Tuesday June 19th, Surgery started around 7:15. Promptly on time.....Today is Thursday the 21st of June. And all I have to say is, OMG!!!!! Honestly never dreamed it would be this painful...(Not to scare anyone away from having this dont) But just be prepared. It honestly hurts to even "BREATHE"!!!! Getting in & out of the bed is extremely major work. :think Oh, and also check this out, I weighed the morning of surgery, weighing in at an astounding 236.5...So, ok, yesterday afternoon, when I arrived home, I (for no good reason) decided to get on the scale.........Remember, no food or drink since 5:00 Monday afternoon.... Well, guess what the scaled said, 242.5:angryWhat the heck was that about. I hope it was just from all the fluids they put in me. But holy crap, I hope you can feel my pain. Anywho, weighed again this morning & it said 237, so maybe it will get better now. I sure hope it does. Well, getting back to the surgery, did I mention the pain?????LOL! oh well, I'm sure this too will pass. Speaking of passing..be prepared for lots & lots of air in your stomach that needs to be let out (ANY WAY POSSIBLE) This gas/air is very very bad. I feel as though maybe they dropped me on my left shoulder during surgery, I will have to investigate this.....:biggrin1: Anywho, I just had a very water protein shake & maybe I'll feel better soon. but for now, I'm thinking I will start sleepin in my recliner & maybe it won't be quite so painful as the bed is. ok, talk more soon..:sick
I can't believe it, I'm scheduled to be at the hospital for banding in 15 1/2 hours. OMG!!!! This time tomorrow it will be done. I am to be at the hospital at 5:00 am & surgery at 7:15. Me A bandster!! Things that make you go "HMMMMMM!":clap2: Eating very light today, grits for breakfast, soup for lunch, yogurt for snack & probably soup for supper. Ok, that's bout all I have to say for now. The next time I speak on here it will all be over!!! How kool is that:cool:!
TTFN
I can't believe I only have one day left!!! My Dr. didn't put me on any kind of liquid preop diet (for some reason) but I'm thinking that from now til Tuesday morning, I shall just do liquids. I'm way excited Yet oddly very sleepy:notagree. Starting to think I have that Narcolepsy disease, LOL. Whenever I get really anxious about something I seem to want to sleep. Oh well, guess I'll get back to housework, trying to get everything caught up around here so I want have much to do this week. :washing:I live with a Chihuahua & she doesn't seem to help much with the chores.:dog:. I had a husband once, been divorced for 17 years now, the divorce was my fault however, I just couldn't seem to except his girlfriend into our marriage. LOL:D oh well, goodbye
Tammie:kiss2:
