I'm getting very nervous. I am trying to eat like I will after surgery but not having much luck. I eat too fast, I don't chew enough, I take too big of bites and I don't drink enough water. I will make myself after surgery, I hope the band makes it easier.
Weight updated 4-6-07, 9days post op.
It is 6 days until my surgery. Dr. Spivak doesn't really require a post op diet, only no red meat and pasta 72 hours before surgery. I am getting a little anxious. I'm eating things I didn't even eat before, I guess I'm panicing. I'm also scared I won't loose much weight.
Hi...My name is Sharon and I am having the lap band surgery on march 28th. I have been dieting all my life. I am 70 pounds overweight and have high blood pressure, high cholesterol, high triglicerides and borderline diabetes. I'm having the surgery to loose the weight and mostly to keep it off forever. I am 54 years old and hope this will be the answer for me. I am wondering if anyone else has had 70 pounds to loose and how long did it take. My surgeon said I will probably only loose 1 pound a week. That seems slow. :rolleyes :nervous
