I did it!!!!!

Sleeved on 7/1 in Monterrey Mexico, missed my flight, arrived in a hurricane, went straight to OR as soon as I arrived, Spent an extra day due to the fact that my surgery was so late. Finally home in NJ, tolerating my clear liquids, I never thought orange jello would excite me...........NOW the work begins!!!!!! :scared0:

my journey is about to begin!

I am flying to Monterrey Mexico on Wed, 6/30 for my VSG surgery on 7/1 with Dr. Miguel Zapata. I am only slightly nervous, I have been hearing so much negative feed back on surgeries in Mexico but every blog or testimony I read sounds awesome!!! As my BMI creeps up with my age (DOB 6/29) , I know I need to take this step. My latest attempt at weight loss was so discouraging. Five months of vigorous painful exercising, high protien diet, down 20lbs and after much blood, sweat and tears, put 5 lbs back on in 4 days. :-( I pray that was my last weight loss roller coaster ride! my knees and back can not take anymore pain! Im not sure if my elevared blood pressure is related to my weight or from disgust and disappointment. Either way, I hope this new journey is a positive one!! Anyone else use Ready4achange in Monterrey Mexico? was your experience positive?? any "newbie" tips?? I have no family support on my decision, and my friends think Im going to have my internal organs removed and sold on the black market!!!!!! IN NEED OF SOME SUPPORTIVE FRIENDS!!! :scared0:
