Hi Everyone,
I know I don't have the right to complain after losing 80 pounds in the last 7 months. I have been stuck at the same weight for the last 3 weeks. And I know that it is my own fault. I have to lower the calories and up the exercise to get the weight loss going again. The last 20 pounds are going to be harder to get off I have a feeling.
I am saying this because I want people to know that we all go through places in this WLS journey that we don't lose weight. I am thrilled that I have not gained a pound during this time. It just proves over and over again that I made the right choice in have the "sleeve." :thumbup1:
It still seems a little strange to hear someone tell me that I am "skinny." Skinny is something new and strange for me to hear. But, I look at myself and say YES, you are so slim notice I don't see myself skinny yet) and look so much better than you did last summer. This is a whole new world for me. It has been many years since I felt this good. I actually enjoy getting up early (I am retired) and go walking ealry in the morning with a friend of mine who has lost weight and also was sleeved in April 2009. We are a great support team for each other.
So I am open to anything anyone one has done to get past that "no weight loss" for a few weeks. This has been a great board and I really have enjoyed the people on here and being able to share with them, so many of my feelings.

Hi, Why are you still sitting out there waiting to have surgery. I know for many, it is the fear off failing just one more time. I felt like that too, and I want you to know that "sleeve" surgery was the ONLY thing that has ever worked for me. I had it over 4 1/2 years ago and I lost 105 pounds and I have kept it off. STOP giving days of your life away. Make the choice to do something that is going to save your life. I am always here if you have any questions. Do something NOW, and I promise you, that you will never have any regrets
