Day 6 Pre-opt

Just giving a little update. I'm on day six so far so good. yesterday was so so. A co-worker was eating some old bay wings and boy oh boy did they smell good. She offered me so and as bad as I wanted to eat just one I didn't. I'm really proud of myself for that. With this pre-opt diet I'm learning more of myself each day. Mainley that I do have will power and I can do this. :wub:

All smiles this morning:)

I'm truely all smiles this morning. I went in to have a fill on tuesday and i weighted in at 216. I weighed myself today for the March challenge and i was down to 213. This has made my day. So I started my day off with an egg white veggie omelete. If I had this to do all over again I surely would.

Hello I missed yall

Hello all I haven't been on here in a min. All is going good. Since the weather is so nice here I went running for the first time in a year. One top of me working out with my personal trainer and I feel really good. A little sore but good just the same. I haven't got anymore fills yet and I'm fine with that. But just wanted to share the I was able to do 130 sit ups with a 10 pound weight plate. It's the little things in life. Have a good day all.

I survived the Pre-opt Diet and Tomorrow is the day:)

Ok so today is the my last day of the pre-opt diet and what a challenge it was. But I succeed non the less. I will weigh myself tomorrow to give you guys another update on my weight loss. Also, BDay is tomorrow can you say super excited. not nervous at all.

Breakfast

So today I can eat and I'm at work and like clock work everybody is going out for breakfast. So the turn to me and say you want us to bring you something back I tell them no I have me breakfast. First person say oh your eating food today what are you eating and I pull out my light and fit greek yogart that has double protein in it and an orange. And right on que they say that's not real food. Your are starving yourself to deaf. I simply smile and say this may not be real to you but it taste real to me. I must add they don't know that I have the lap band and with them acting like this I damn sure not telling. Cause I would have to give them a piece of my mind if they said something out the way. I thought I would share this. Time to finish my great breakfast. Have a good day all. And see you at lunch time.

It's my life lesson!

So two days ago I got really disappointed in myself, because I did something I shouldn't have. That night I said a long pray and God answered it for me. The very next day I got my head into the game and I'm proud to say I have been to the gym two days in a row. And today alone I did a mile and a half on the traidmill and a half mile on the eliptical. Go Team Me!

What a difference six weeks made

So I started my journey on January 7 and has since lost a total of 26 pounds. Now I'm happy about my weight loss but I'm really happy about fitting into a pair of jeans I haven't worn in a whole year. It's the little steps that count. :wub:

Omg it's that time again.

Well it's that time again and today I'm really not felling it. I'm tired and sluggish and I have to see my personal trainer today. I really need motivation to see him today cause what I really want to do is go home and go to bed. So what to do. Today Is not a good day.

Two week check up!

Hello all thought I would stop by and give an update. I went and saw my doctor today for my follow up appt. All went well. I can officially start mushies. Have to wait a week before I can start water aerobics. So I well be hitting the gym in the morning. I will get my first fill on March 5. I want to be down 10 pounds by then. I think I can do it.

Am I the only one?

I was banded on monday but since then i haven't been able to sleep all night. The gas pain is easing up a little but i want to sleep has anyone else went through or going through something like this and if so what did you do. And yes I have been walking.

I take all the blame and full responsibility!

Well like my title says I take full blame and responsibility. This week has not been a good week with the lost of my husband's grandmother. I has brought back memories of losing my grandmother and mother and great grandmother. With that being said I fell off the wagon for the past two days. I know what I did and what I have to do to make things right. Was just a depressed and it happens. I'm feeling a lot better and will be seeing my personal trainer first thing tomorrow morning. Plus I will get a fill on Tuesday. I hope everyone enjoy the rest of there day!

I know I complained about this before. And this may be a little tmi, but I'm pmsing again. I'm tired and want to eat everything I see. Not to mention I have to go see my personal trainer. Oh well I just need to vent.

Finally got approved.

Well ladies and gentlemen the time has finally come. My insurance company finally approved me. I guess this is my early Christmas gift, and what a gift it is. Can you say excited.com.org.net.... I will have my surgery sometime in January which is even better. New year New Me. Happy Holiday's all and I will be posting updates soon.

I had my first slime incident, and now I no what it's like!

So today I went to take one of my pills. I always cut in in half, which i did today. The first half went down just fine now the second one went down wrong and my band let me no just that. And a few seconds later up came the pill. Now I feel a lot better. Self correcting error is what I call it.

Can't tell the difference

Like the title says I can't tell the difference if I'm tight because my cycle is getting ready to come on or if my second fill is really working either way I'm not complaining. Can anyone can help me with this.

day 8 pre-opt

So today is day 8 and as of yesterday im down 7 pounds. Who would of thought It. In the beginning of my journey I didn't think the me losing weight was a reality but as I read each and one of the post on year yall give me hope. Received a phone call today for the doctors and the moved my time from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. and it just clicked in my head. That this is becoming a reality I'm changing my life for the better. Well just wanted to share what was on my mind. Hope everyone have a good day.

day 4 post-opt

Like the title say day 4 post-opt and boy do i feel a lot better, not quite 100% yet but I feel good just the same. I'm able to move a lot better and the gas, well I still have it just not as bad. Just wanted to give a little update.
