Wow how times flies?

So just like my title say's time is flying by. One minute I couldn't wait to get banded, then I got banded. Now I'm one week away from my first fill. Just thought I would share this.

What a difference six weeks made

So I started my journey on January 7 and has since lost a total of 26 pounds. Now I'm happy about my weight loss but I'm really happy about fitting into a pair of jeans I haven't worn in a whole year. It's the little steps that count. :wub:

Omg it's that time again.

I know I complained about this before. And this may be a little tmi, but I'm pmsing again. I'm tired and want to eat everything I see. Not to mention I have to go see my personal trainer. Oh well I just need to vent.

One cup is really one cup!

So I got out my measuring cup put one cup of water in it and then got out one of my tuber ware bowels and poured the water in there and was surprised it fit. So Thats what I well be eating out of.

Just wanted to brag:)

I have really been doing great. I went to the gym on thur, and fri. I rested the weekend. And Today I met with my personal trainer. Well low and behold, got weighted in today and I'm weighing in at 227. I'm Happy and I hope to keep this up. Have a good day all. :wub:

I had my first slime incident, and now I no what it's like!

So today I went to take one of my pills. I always cut in in half, which i did today. The first half went down just fine now the second one went down wrong and my band let me no just that. And a few seconds later up came the pill. Now I feel a lot better. Self correcting error is what I call it.

What to expect!

Can anyone tell me what to expect from my first fill. I will get my first fill on March 5 and was banded on 21 January.

It's my life lesson!

So two days ago I got really disappointed in myself, because I did something I shouldn't have. That night I said a long pray and God answered it for me. The very next day I got my head into the game and I'm proud to say I have been to the gym two days in a row. And today alone I did a mile and a half on the traidmill and a half mile on the eliptical. Go Team Me!

Two week check up!

Hello all thought I would stop by and give an update. I went and saw my doctor today for my follow up appt. All went well. I can officially start mushies. Have to wait a week before I can start water aerobics. So I well be hitting the gym in the morning. I will get my first fill on March 5. I want to be down 10 pounds by then. I think I can do it.

Sleep

I finally got some good ole sleep. Haven't posted in a few day's. Just thought I give a little update. Was banded on the 21st. went back to work on the 28th. and have been feeling pretty good. Other than not being able to sleep until last night I slept really good. I'm doing pretty good with my protein and fluid intake so I'm happy about that. I have my follow up appt on tues. and can't wait for that. I have no problems just want to hear what the doctor has to say. Everybody enjoy you day.

I'm ready to chew!!!!!

Awww I'm still on the post opt-diet liquids wont start mushies till I see my doctor next week. But I want to chew so band its killing me but I can hold out. Just want to vent a little

Need Advice!

So I am 7 day's post opt and I haven't had a good nights sleep since. Has anybody else gone through this also. Everything else is fine just not sleeping.

day 4 post-opt

Like the title say day 4 post-opt and boy do i feel a lot better, not quite 100% yet but I feel good just the same. I'm able to move a lot better and the gas, well I still have it just not as bad. Just wanted to give a little update.

Am I the only one?

I was banded on monday but since then i haven't been able to sleep all night. The gas pain is easing up a little but i want to sleep has anyone else went through or going through something like this and if so what did you do. And yes I have been walking.

disappointed.

Well like the title say im very disappointed right now. I have been doing very good with my pre-opt dist haven't cheated at all. My husband and I discussed me having surgery which im having tomorrow. So I tell him not to tell anybody and i do mean anybody cause this is my journey. and what do my husband do tell his parents. and he lied about it. im pissed and its stuff like this that sets be back. dont worry i still didnt eat anything but boy i could right about now.

I survived the Pre-opt Diet and Tomorrow is the day:)

Ok so today is the my last day of the pre-opt diet and what a challenge it was. But I succeed non the less. I will weigh myself tomorrow to give you guys another update on my weight loss. Also, BDay is tomorrow can you say super excited. not nervous at all.

Day 9 Pre-opt

Good Evening all,     Just wanted to stop by and give a little up date. I had my final appointment today and everything went well. I got a tour of the floor after surgery, and went over some final information about the procedure. Then I get home and get a phone call from the hospital and they wanted to go over some information that was needed before I get there and once I hung up the phone it hit me. My surgery is really going to happen in 6 day. Can you say excited.com:)

day 8 pre-opt

So today is day 8 and as of yesterday im down 7 pounds. Who would of thought It. In the beginning of my journey I didn't think the me losing weight was a reality but as I read each and one of the post on year yall give me hope. Received a phone call today for the doctors and the moved my time from 1 p.m to 3 p.m. and it just clicked in my head. That this is becoming a reality I'm changing my life for the better. Well just wanted to share what was on my mind. Hope everyone have a good day.

Day 6 Pre-opt

Just giving a little update. I'm on day six so far so good. yesterday was so so. A co-worker was eating some old bay wings and boy oh boy did they smell good. She offered me so and as bad as I wanted to eat just one I didn't. I'm really proud of myself for that. With this pre-opt diet I'm learning more of myself each day. Mainley that I do have will power and I can do this. :wub:
