So I got a Pay Day Advance....

Yeah I did it...I broke what so falsely has been accused as the stupidest thing you can do when strapped for cash.... I took out a payday advance. No gravy, I asked for $300 ... got it the next day and when payday rolled around was given the opp to pay the $300 back (plus a fee...hey they did loan me cash quick!) or pay the fee and extend my loan another week. I opted to pay the $375. The good out of this kids.... I was able to pay the bills I needed to and avoid the late fees...get my hair "did" and put some groceries in the house..... Not bad for a cash advance.....:eek:

So Far...

I went to Curves this morning and had a very good workout.... Bad me... partially because I've had such a terrible time getting an appointment for a fill (last one in October!) and because the scale is my worst enemy now (stuck at 231! OMG I was 227, no I'm up to 231!) I'm taking Lipo6... I know I really ought not too, but I am... Weighed myself after my workout and I'm at 231... that just sucks... I really need to monitor what I put in my mouth! I had an Advantage chocolate shake (160 calories and 15 grams of protein) and now I'm having water and totally considering going back to nutrisystem.... lots of stuff on my mind...

Update to my journal

Hi Everyone! Thanks for all the well wishes and prayers....I haven't been on in a while and need to update my journal.   Day 2 Post Op March 13, 2007 @ 5:51am Woke up about a quarter to six, my usual time... God blessed me so... I made it through the night without too much discomfort. The gas is probably the most uncomfortable thing, but Sue has me walking , sipping and taking in protein to relieve that gas. I'm glad she's here. She's my best friend and she had the gastric surgery and looks like a million bucks! It's nice having someon understand y'know? This morning I'm able to sit up on my own and draft this journal entry before entering it. I'm on some water-laced with crystal light's fruit punch:) ...doing breathing exercises every so often and trying to cough, burp or fart...the farts are easier:) . My hair is still a mess, but mom's going to style it...so much fell out pre-op due to stress... ooh weee there goes my first sneeze... I had to hold myself for that one.:eek: I'm still going to take it easy today, but I'm going to try for more water and protein;   Day 3 Post Op March 14, 2007 @ 7:09am VERY SORE!!! :faint: Anestesia has definately wore off and i've been taking tylenol to ease the pain(Really wish doc prescribed Vicodin). I'm holding my stomache alot. Walking is much easier and i"m really trying... I'm sipping on water more today. Congrats to me, I had my first Post Op Bowel movement!:biggrin1: Maybe it's because I slightly feel like poop?:!:   Day 4 Post Op March 15, 2007 @ 6:05am I am in so much discomfort :sick and can't at this time tell if it's the gas or the surgery sutures... I broke down today and took a gas strip... I know doctor Endres said no, but I couldn't find any relief(It didn't work anyway) Gonna try to take things easy again...I really think I've pushed things. :faint:     Day 5 Post Op March 16, 2007 @ 8:25am Last night was horrible! :angry I couldn't sleep comfortably. Felt like I had a big gas bubble in the middle of my boobs! I'm also tired of all the phone calls from collections-- Got a bit behind-- these people don't care when I said I'm in recovery from surgery Monday...I see my attorney tomorrow...unfortunately I will have to file BK for all the bills that are too much for me to pay:cry Because I sat up half the night, I'm seriously with the bags. Hope to update all this entries in my journal today :biggrin1:   Day 6 Post Op March 17, 2007 @5pm Happy St Paddy's Day!!!!!! Still have that gassy feeling in my belly-chest-sucks. Should be gone soon. I really can't wait to eat--- not really hungry, but miss the taste of food. It's a good thing I can start mushy foods Monday. I'm so longing for some pureed eggplant YUM!:hungry: Haven't been able to eat a full cup of jello and weirdest thing of all is I'm watching a lot of the FOOD NETWORK..... Count Down

Well... two more days and I'll be banded I'm very excited, and a little bit of nerves are set in... I had to do a fleet cleanse this morning. That stuff is so nasty...it's 1.5 ounce in 12 ounces of Apple Juice... but know what? I couldn't even taste the apple juice! The fleet was soooooo overwelming....It's working though because I'm going every 15-20 minutes. This weekend is crazy. My Aunt RD passed last Saturday and today's her funeral. As much as I want to spend time with my family, I'm only able to go to the funeral then get back home so I'm close to the john. I also need to get my apartment a little spruced up... my friend Sue is baby sitting me the first three days, she had a gastro bypass two years ago so she sorta knows what I'm going through... I'm nervous about the IV and coming out of the anestesia, but I know God's not done with me yet, and I'll come through the surgery with flying colors I'm looking forward to a week away from the office and possibly catching Gerard Butler's new movie...he is sooooooooo hot! Good Morning 221.7!

UNBELIEVABLE!   I'm thrilled about the wieghtloss. I've been watching my food intake... the bummer is that I don't think I'm getting my water all in... I mean I am TIGHT I can take sips at a time and I can still feel the tightness of the band around my stomache so there must still be some swelling... Praise the Lord! he fights all my battles and with Him I know this too will be another mountain that will be conquered. My goal is to hit my two-teens by weekend!!! WhooHOOOOO!

Ughhhh 214.3

I don't enjoy eating, I'm throwing up and just not very happy.... it seems as if nothingwill stay down or that I've grown an imulse to throw up ... I don't like that and think I need an unfill or perhaps to visit my doctor for something to take for this cough.. I swear this cold seems to be holding on for dear life and I'm just sick of it :crying:

Baby It's Hot Outside...

I'm bloated, my cycle is here and I just feel full on blahhh So being that it's 110 outside, I've decided to stay in tomorrow and go on full protein liquids and water and revive my body from a hard week with crazy sales people at work... some say destress... I say heck yes!

bouncy bouncy :)

whooo I gotta catch up... been lazy with updates lately... On Oct 25th I was at 208.7 Oct 27: 211 Oct 29: 210.5 I had my adjustment this day. Following my adjustment I caught terrible flu symptoms and started my period... I just felt like YUCK! Stress also didn't help and I was dealing with money issues.... Today is November 8th and I'm down to 204.1   I haven't been eating a great deal... I'm a bit tight :huh2: I need to find a way to stress less and stay on track.:smile2:

Day Two Liquids

Yesterday after my fill was alright, but I got a maddening headache and didn't get rid of it until this morning... I'm still on liquids. Of course I have my tomato soup but know what? I wanna chew on something badly LOL! Went to Big Lots with Sam on our lunch break and I bought a little food processor... starting tomorrow i'm on soft foods... so it's puree time! They had a lot of Nutrisystem stuff! :biggrin:Sam and I are very supportive of our goals to continue to lose. She's almost ready to have her reconstructive surgery... I'm hot on her hills, but totally wanna drop another 50 before I even entertain the idea of going under again... My goal for today?:tgif: Drink water and get through the rest of the day without chewing LOL! I'll make it.. I'm a little dawncy so I may skip Curves this afternoon, go home and veg and write in my journal. Tomorrow's a brand new day!:w00t:

Fill after a lOOOOONG drought

Finally had my third fill at Dr. Liu's office Was able to meet some really nice and cool people in the waiting room. Dad was so sweet... see this morning I tried to eat a bean and cheese burrito from taco bell, knowing damn well my body doesn't like flour tortillas anymore LOL... well as I'm getting off the car slim everywhere in the driveway... I guess dad was grossed out and worried about his little princess because he insisted on driving with me to Orange. I'm glad he did, it's always nice having his moral support, and Daddy is my favorite man in the world... he was so hungry and we were there for hours! I made it up to him by buying him a nice lunch at Portillos. Me? Well I'm on liquids for two days... I want to try for three, but hey no promises here LOL. I did tell Andre that I don't want to go out tonight... I want to see him, but I'm afraid on liquids... I may be a little bitchy LOL... funny thing is we were just talking on the phone and I kept having to beltch LOL all I've had... since the few bites of that burrito... is water, a little grape juice.. a little lemonade... and chicken broth.... I'm determined.... I'll be cool tonight with just the liquids... then tomorrow I'll up it with some Protein nectar... still liquids.. I so would like to believe that even I can do all liquids on Saturday, but hey I'm going to a theater and dinner event... well I won't be eating much if anything at all. Docs said we're gonna get this next 50 lobs off and gave me an UBER FILL! I'm holding them to it! I'm also holding myself to it and I'm starting from scratch and gonna keep hitting CURVES like a banshee LOL WhooooHOOO!

Lookin' Good

I learned an important thing and it's to not think in pounds, but in inches! You see in pounds, I've lost a little over 20 pounds but honey child in inches!!!? I'm down 4 dress sizes since my surgery... I've also lost about 4 inches from my waist, 3 from my hips and 2 from the twins! I'm so happy, but I'm not gonna lie.. I need to push myself harder. I need the support of this board and I need to step this up.

Cinco De Mayo 213.5

Have I actually hit my sweetspot or am I losing toooooo FAST? It's only been two in a half weeks and I've gone from 228 to 213.5! That's 15 lbs!

So Discouraged

It's almost been a year and I've been trying for the last four months to get an appointment for an adjustment. My last adjustment didnt' take at all... big bummer. Finally I was able to get an appointment, but not for another month.... I'm not gaining, but not losing... stuck around 226 and 230 and it really SUCKS! The one good thing is my new romance... well at least so far so good LOL

My first fill is coming up

I re visit Dr. Liu on the 13th and get my first fill....I'm super excited, my friend Andrea is getting her second on the same day   I also had my first whistle in a lOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOng time the other day. I was wearing some cute sweat pants with a butterfly tattoo along the butt and walked past this cute guy and he whistled That was nice.   I also start Hip Hop Abs on Monday....seems interesting   For my birthday I would like to get a tattoo....I'm finding other ways of rewarding myself instead of food.   God is sooooooooooooooo Good and I want to wish you all a very Happy Easter. For God so loved this world that He gave His only begotten son. Arggh!

Today was so stressful....I went to see Dr. Liu, not aticipating that my appointment had been cancelled.... This week has been difficult with the "Maniac" questioning how much time I've been taking off for my doctor's visits. If you have a good superviser, treasure them and if you have one like mine....:faint: I hav to scramble this week and have loads of tests done so I can still have my surgery mid January...just a little stressed now, but eventually I'll be able to exhale:clap2:

Sneaky Suspicion

I woke up today tired and it wasn't until after I put on my white pants and began my 45 minute drive to work, that I started to feel like my cycle was beginning.... You know that crampy feeling you get? Well it hit me hard somewhere around Lake Elsinore :Banane10: This is a good thing...so I thought, I was trying to plot my cycles start from when the last one ended. I'm early....oooh wee, but all I have to do is look at a calendar and aunt flo comes for her visit...so I thought... it's now almost 8P and no period....I hope it doesn't wait till I'm on the table having Dr. Liu pokin around in my belly:faint:

Good Morning, I'm getting ready to go to Orange County for my adjustment with Dr. Liu... weighed in at 216.5 this morning... ugh but hey it is what it is.... I'm going to tell him about the heartburn I had last week..OUCH and I'm going to ask, when can I start consulting for further surgery... I still feel I have a loooooot to do, but I'm a dork LOL:tongue_smilie:

OMG I was stuck?
