Ok, I need someone to tell me what I am feeling. I had my second fill on Wednesday. that makes 5cc's in my band.
When I eat after two bites I feel pressure in my chest and if I wait a couple of minutes it goes away. It also happens when I take a drink first thing in the morning. I am wondering if this is what everyone calls tightness or do you think things are getting stuck.
I am not complaining at all, I think it will make me slow down and think about what I am eating and drinking. But, I just need someones advice.
As of today I have already lost 5.5 lbs and very excited that I got banded... I am able to keep everything down with no problems. I notice when I get full I start to burp.. I am able to eat pudding and smoothies at Jamba Juice with protein added.. I know that I am not supposed to yet but I have having a hard time with the taste of the protein shakes that i can buy at the store.
I would like any advice you can give..
Well, today I went to the hospital to get all the admission paper work done and blood taken. I am getting a little nervous now since it is soo close. I am on my liquid diet for three day which today is day two. Which is a little hard but i am getting by alright. It is really hard getting all the protein shakes down. But, I can tell you that Jillian Micheals protein mix isn't bad. I would love for you to give my any and all advice you have for before and after surgery.
thank you:)
I want to start with I am new to this website and very excited about everything I have seen and the people I have talked to. My name is Desera and I will be having the lapband surgery in September, The reason for the wait is my insurance is making me do a six month diet and see a psychologist for one visit..
Anyway, I am married with one step son, I live in Oklahoma and I can't wait for my new life. I am kinda scared but I know it is gonna be wonderful. The main reason for my post is to ask people to give me any advice that you think could be helpful. Anything from what I should do to get ready for surgery, what to expect at the hospital to what to expect when I get home.
My doctors office hasn't gone over anything with me yet since I am still working on the insurance requriments.
Thank you so very much and I am loving reading all your post and information...
