1st night out .. and like a FOOL I over ate

OMG.. that ate to much/food stuck feeling DOES NOT FEEL GOOD.. at all. I had a wonderful girls night out, mani/pedi, a little dinner.. and ruined it all by eating to much... The pain is horrible...   Note to self.... let's not do that again......

NSV.. and celebrating highest weight and surgery weight losses..

2 1/2 weeks later.. my NSV(non scale victory) is I am down 2 guchies sizes (for you non Western Pennsylvania people, that means underwear, and it is an actual word). :bananajump: Also.. do you celebrate your highest weight loss or what you weighed right before surgery or BOTH?? From when I started this journey 8 months ago, I am down 39lbs.. Since my surgery I am down 25lbs...:thumbsup:

Day 14 and just can't get motivated to get on the treadmill....

Help!!! I can't get motivated to get my butt on the treadmill. I'm definitely a morning workout person. But, if I don't do it right away.. FORGET ABOUT IT!!! It's been 14 days since I was banded, and I think I was on the treadmill a total of 4 times. I have 2 small children (ages 3 & 4), and honestly don't get a second for myself all day. My husband and I have been talking about joining a gym, but not sure if we can afford it. I think it would be the best thing if we could. To be able to workout uninterrupted.. (I wonder what that would be like).... I go for my 2 week follow up on Tuesday. I recently had to have an emergency follow up, due to an infection at my port site. I was weighed and lost 10lbs in 9 days( yay!! GO me Go me).. But, I know if I don't get my butt moving this isn't going to turn out well..   How do you get yourself motivated??????

Day 6.. and feeling GREAT!!

I can't believe I feel this good, this soon. Started full liquids on Friday. The first day was a little rocky. But, by the end of the evening I think I figured it out. It will be nice to get some energy. I'm over being tired so quickly. Started the treadmill yesterday(day 5), only did 10mins @1.2mph.. I know don't get all excited now.. I didn't want to push it, cause i have been feeling that good. Today, I did 10 mins in the morning, and 20 mins this evening. This evening I bumped it up to 1.4mph and that was enough. Tomorrow I plan on doing 2/20mins walks. My meals for the next 2 weeks consist of these simple things.   Breakfast - 4oz Carnation Instant (sugar free) Chocolate powder w/1/2 cup skim milk   Between - water and 8oz protein shake (Worldwide pure protein, 35 grams protein, 4 grams carbs)   Lunch - 4oz fat free yogurt   Between - water and 8oz protein shake   Dinner - 4oz low fat cream soup( I think I made it to thick yesterday, so I'll be thinning it down today)   and then of course more WATER WATER WATER.....

Banded Day 4

So far so good. Went in Monday (May 2nd) to get banded, and a new plication procedure done. Never had any nausea or vomiting, pain was a minimal. Released from the hospital Tuesday evening. Tuesday evening went well. Had a hard time finding a comfy spot to sleep in, in our bed. I think I was up every hour to hour 1/2. Wednesday was pretty good. I was starting to get a headache. I was drinking my water/liquids, but it definitely wasn't enough. I think all the sugar free things kind of got to me also. So, I started drinking plain apple juice and Gatorade. Once I think my body balanced back out, my headache went away. One more day of clear liquids, and then I can start full liquids. I'm excited to start the protein shakes, so I can get some energy.
