I am suprised I feel great. I only get the gas pressure that is uncomfortable. It seems like I will be ready to go back to work on Monday. I only took off Tuesday thru today. I have been up and about since I had surgery on Wednesday. Well I have company now but I'll log back in later.
Well all went well. I'll give all the details tomorrow. I am home. I feel good. Kinda like I didn't have anything done minus the gas pain or better yet pressure. Sleepy right now so I'm gonna go. Just wanna say THANKS TO ALL THAT KEPT ME IN THEIR THOUGHTS AND PRAYERS.
Well I get banded tomorrow. May 11th. I am getting emotional. I feel scared and excited. I hope this is all normal. So many people oppose my choice. But I made this choice. I choose to be healthy and fit again. Enough with the negitive . I am so happy and relieved the day is here. I didn't get a call from the hospital to tell me the time I am to be there but I called them and 10:30am I was told with no instructions or anything. I will talk to my surgeon and his staff about that. I am in the medical field I work for a group of doctors that do surgery everyday and i give the instructions for gastro procedures everyday so I kind of know what I need to do but I hope nothing was overlooked. I guess you all can tell i am nervous. I am glad to have some where to vent. Well I will be on again on Thursday if not tomorrow. I'll let everyone know how everything goes.
Yea!!!!! For Me!!!!!!! I got a date. I am so excited. I get banded on May 11th. I am so ready. Well now Pre-op diet. I am so happy right now. I was suprised this morning when I got the call because she just put my paper work in yesterday and she got the approval this morning. My insurance is quick. I started my journey on March 8th when I went to my first siminar with my surgeon. Dr. Adam Goldstein and his staff are a wonderful group.
I thought I was almost there. I saw my PCP, Cardiologist, had my Psyc eval, quit smoking, barium swallow, blood work, lost 7 lbs I have 3 to go, and had to see the GI for positive H.pylori IGG,IGA test, so today I had an upper endoscopy done, all went well I have a small hiatus hernia. I see the nutritionist tomorrow and I hope all the other reports get to my surgeon's office before the end of the week so it can be submitted to the insurance. All the waiting and work is giving me fatigue. I know this is going to be worth it. So to all that think this is the easy way out. Think again. No diet checks you out as well as this Pre-Op stuff. Waiting, being patient, and keeping my eye on the prize.
I'm just getting started. Last week I have completed my bloodwork, cardio clearence, psyc eval, and barium swallow study. This week I have to see the nutritionist and my pcp and all my pre stuff will be done. Then my paperwork gets submitted to the insurance for approval. They say my insurance is one of the easy ones for approval so I hope they are right. I just want a surgery date. I am so ready for this journey to take flight. I have Amerihealth Administrators. Does anyone else have my insurance and has recently had surgery?
