Tommorow is another big weight in day for me, I weighed last Friday 178.7, so hoping to at least be in the 177 area. I've been averaging 1 freaken pound a week. But hey, I will take it I guess....what choice do I have anyhow. lol.

Well, I finally figured out why my weight is bouncing! Woke up this morning and had my visit from TOM, EARLY! He was not due to visit until another 10 days! Weird, I've always been late, not early, especailly not 10 days early! I woke up in a bad mood. I feel bad yelling at my daughter and DH, they were both walking around on egg shells this morning.
I've finally calmed down, but I hate that I acted so bad toward them this morning.
I think I will just sit in my office today and not talk to anyone at work, just not in the mood to deal with people today, not sure why I'm in such a fowl mood, but I suppose it must be PMS. Man, somtimes I hate being a woman!
I received a call from the sleep center and it turns out the doc is recommending 12 cc of oxygen/air for me everynight. She said the average is 8 - 10 cc so I'm slightly above average. Not sure what that means??
They will call me back later today to get me set up to come pick up my cpap machine and show me how to clean it etc. They want me to have it before my surgery. She stated that I would heal faster with the machine.

Yesterday marks my 3 weeks post op. I've lost weight, I've lost inches and I feel pretty good. My port side is still sore, it is actually has a slight burning pain today. But not too misserable.
I went to see my gynocologist and told her I had the lap band surgery, she was pleased. She has seen great progress from people. I also weighed 214 on her scales, with my jeans on and I feel constipated. So Naked, I might weigh less:clap2: .
One problem I am having is I am waking up extremely early in the mornings. I wake up refreshed and ready to go. Monday I woke up before the alarm at 5:30, same with Tuesday. Wednesday & Thursday I woke up around 4:30. Now this morning, I'm wide awake at 3:30 am! I didn't go to bed until after 11:00 - I was caught up with Larry King, Nancy Grace on the Anna Nicole death. So I probably didn't get to sleep until midnight. That means I only got about 3 1/2 hours of sleep last night. I'm not sure why I'm waking up, not sure if its the C-pap machine doing it or what? But for the life of me, I cannot go back to sleep.
I got up at 3:30, looked on the internet on Ebay - Then I found myself hungry, so I had a SF pudding snack with protein powder mixed it.
One other thing I'm noticing is in the mornings, I find myself dry heaving. Not sure why, but feel a little nausious in the mornings - NO, I'M NOT PREGO. :confused:
My menu today:
4:00 am - SF pudding with a heaping TBSP of protein powder
7:00 am - 1 egg over easy
12:00 pm - 1/2 cup of cottage cheese
4:00 pm - 8 oz protein shake
8:00 pm - soup with shredded cheese (1/2 cup)
Okay - I just knew this was going to be the right fill. I do seem to get full quicker. However, I just don't feel it? I know, I should just be happy that I eat less.
In the past it has taken a few weeks for my fill to really kick in, so I'm hoping that will happen.
I'm very hopeful it will work, but I'm also scared this fill doesn't work. I'm running out of room for any further fills.
So, I'm not going to give up.

Okay, I was doing great on my 84 day challenge, then on day 10, I was exercising, lifting weights and I felt something very wrong in my shoulder.
I went to the doctor and it turn out I tore my rotary cuff - hurts like a dickens. So no weights for the upper body for awhile.....the doctor said it can take 6 mos to a year to heal, and I could have to have surgery, but we are trying physical therapy first.
Anyhow, so I will stick to cardio and lower body workouts.
I will be leaving for vacation Saturday afternoon, I plan on exercising while we are on vacation. We are going to our family cabin in the mountains and I will be in control of what I eat, so I think I can eat pretty healthy too.
I'm looking forward to so R&R. My goal on this vacation is to LOSE WEIGHT, even if its just a pound. My last 5 vacations have been on a cruise, and I always gain! So this is the first vacation in awhile without gourmet food. lol. I will be doing the cooking, and let me tell ya, it won't be gourmet! hehehehe.
Okay, I will post when I get back to my blog - My goal is to be at 158 when I get back home, thats 1 lbs lighter. Hopefully I will be more, but I will be thrilled with 1 lbs lighter!
A new challenge to myself, How long can I go without Sugar? I was on day 3 until last night. However, I really don't feel I did too bad. We went out to the "all you can eat buffet", I fixed my plate and ate, I mainly ate a salad. Anyhow, after dinner, everyone was going for dessert, so I followed right along. I fixed me some of this warm chocolate cake and some bread pudding. Well, I had about 1 bite of the bread pudding and maybe 3 of(very small bites) the cake, it just wasn't that good and I didn't want to wast calories on something that I didn't really like. So, I just didn't eat anymore.
But I decided instead of going for the cake, I should have just said NO. So now I'm going to challenge myself, how long can I go challenge. I like to have some type of snack at night, so I am having SF jello or SF pudding instead of my usual dessert.
So - we'll start today, DAY 1!

Well its Wednesday night, I just made it back from the gym, had a GREAT workout. I am trying to savor this feeling, so the next time I want to blow the workout off, I need to recall this wonderful feeling I have right now after my workout......

Bfast - got so busy and didn't really eat bfast (something I don't like to do is skip bfast - bad me)
Lunch - Went to applebees had the grilled talapia with broccoli, only ate 1/2 my meal, I will eat the rest tomorrow for lunch.
Dinner - made a low fat chicken tortillia soup, skipped the tortillia chips. Very good and filling!
Snack - had 4 grape tomatoes (that I personally grew in my garden) and 3 TBSP of hummus
I'm about to go take a shower, get ready for bed and come relax on my couch and watch a little TV and have a small bowl of Red seedless grapes. Yum!

I am loving my restriction! Its not too tight, no acid reflux and I feel full after a few bites! Yay!
I do notices that I'm wide open in the evening, but have really good restriction in the day time. I need to focus on eating good protein in the evening to help with my hunger so I don't pig out.
I also notice I snack too much, a candy kiss here, a candy kiss there, No more candy kisses! I must keep my dirty hands out of the candy dish!
Exercise - I MUST pick it up again, slacker this week.

A new month, a new week, and new focus, new goals!
My husband wants to get back to the gym, so we are going tonight. I also went down to the gym today on break and did 20 min on the elliptical machine.
I'm going to focus on exercise this month! I know I say it all the time, but I really really am trying, I don't know why I do so good for a week then fall off the wagon. I think if my husband gets to the gym, that will help to have a buddy.

I brought my lunch today, I brought some roasted chicken, i'm headed down to the cafe to get a small tosses salad to go with my chicken.
I also scheduled yet another fill. grrrr. I'm sick of fills, but I'm not giving up until I have my sweet spot. My next fill is next week at 10:00 am. Yay. I can't wait to get a fill and hopefully have my sweet spot. This fill is pretty good, I just think I need a tad more.

Eating has been right on! I had a bad night Tuesday (overdosed on girl scout cookies), but since then, I've done GREAT!
Tonight is weigh in at Weight Watchers so we'll see how I've done! My scales show I'm down, but who knows what I will weigh wearing jeans and a sweater like I am today. I wish they had private rooms where I could just strip down naked - that always makes me go down a few pounds. :thumbup:
I started tanning on Friday, got to get me a little color before my Cancun trip next month, I'm so white and pale looking. Got me a new haircut on Friday, cut about 3" off and I feel so much better, the hair looks so much healthier. Got my nails done on Friday too, I had a me day!

Well, i'm back at work today and recovering from my sickness. Busy busy busy.....
Still, did not make it to they gym! Nor did I get up this morning, will try and make it tonight! I have to do some grocery shopping and a big purchase at Sams tonight for a wedding I'm catering on Saturday, so working out is on my list, but not sure I will get to it. I know, I know, I need to make it a priority.
On a good note, this fill sure is feeling good! Eating a lot less, and getting full a lot quicker. I am having to slow down while eating, which is a good thing for me. So far, I think this might be the sweet spot I've been trying for over 2 years to get to. I think I might have finally found it! I sure hope it doesn't leave me. I think this could get me to goal if it stays this tight.

Okay - I admit it, I weighed this morning. Only because I felt skinnier, and my DH told me I looked skinnier. So I decided to "test" the scales. I was happy to see that they have dropped 5 lbs since last Monday. I weighed in at 210.8. I'm almost to the 40 lb mark! But, More exciting than that, I'm almost out of the 200's - I'm headed to onerland!
I'm feeling good these days, feeling more confident and still I have a lot of restriction.

We had a huge ice storm, the entire state is in a state of emergency, over 900 thousand homes & business are without power, including mine.
I was off work Monday and Tuesday due to no power, and finally today they are running our office off generators, so I was forced to come in. yuk.
My home is still without power, hoping it will be back on today.
Eating has been so off. I've been staying with my mother in law and eating her cooking - and desserts. I've eaten so much and I have avoided the scales so I'm not sure how much damage I have done. I have no excuses and I think I've used the excuse (I need a fill) too many times. I do need a fill, but I also need some will power and self control, and lately, I've had neither. I cannot wait until January 18th until I can get a fill. I cannot go on like this!
I need to focus and stay on plan, I need to practice some self control and NO MORE EXCUSES!
Well, I got my happy butt out of bed this morning at 5:00 am and headed to the gym. I'm on a roll. lol. I did 35 min on the elliptical. I knew that tonight was going to be busy and I needed to do my exercise in the am if I was going to get it done, and I did it! Yay for me! I'm patting myself on the back right now....pat, pat, pat.

Notes - wt this morning 193.2 - no loss since the 18th. grrrrrr. My weight keeps bouncing from 192 to 196, seem to be stuck, but I don't care, I feel so damn good these days, and I must say, I am looking good. lol. Or at least I feel like I do.
