Breakfast - Starbucks Light Frapp (man, when am I going to get away from these?)   Lunch - turkey salad, crackers (3)   Dinner - olive garden - split a meal with my husband the stuffed chicken marsala (only ate 1/2 of what I got) no breadsticks and a bite or two of a the salad.   Exercise - bad girl - NONE   Notes - wt 193.8 (must have been the girl scout cookies last night - this should teach me) At least they are in the trash now and no more excuses!   Yesterday I was told that I looked like Anna Nicole Smith - I asked this person if I looked like the fat one or the skinny one, lol, either way I took it as a compliment since I've always thought she was beautiful (a little weird, but still beautiful). I was also told last week that I look like Reese Witherspoon - I really took that as a compliment since I think she is absolutely gorgeous. I was approached by another Male supervisor and he asked me how much weight I've lost and how am I doing it? I told him I am eating less and exercising, since knowone knows about my WLS at work. I felt a little guilty, but I its the truth, I am eating less and I am exercising more. Right?   DH had surgery yesterday and I've been babying him, he can be a real baby, but I love him - lol. I have to give him constant attention when he is sick or down & out, so he has been taking up all my time and I haven't had time to exercise, but I will have to make time today!

Woke up - went to bathroom - then weighed. I always hold my breath when I weigh, its such a scary feeling.   Well, the scales did go down, I took my docs advice and really upped my water intake. 6/09/09 - Day 2 of my 84 day Challenge

Yay, I did it! I got my happy fat butt up and went to the gym at 5:00 am this morning and did my cardio. Per the BFL challenge, I am to do my cardio 3x's per week first thing in the morning.   So, today was cardio day, I sure didn't want to get up, but I forced myself up and did it. Feels so good to have won this morning! I didn't let my evil twin talk me into staying in bed, lol. Usually I get this little voice in my head and that says "oh, come on, you don't have to get up, you can work out tonight". But this time, I just got up and did it. Yay!   Menu today:   Bfast cottage cheese mixed with yogurt   Meal 2 hummus (2 TBSP) carrots/tomatoes   Meal 3 Turkey meatloaf edamame beans   Meal 4 peach string cheese   Meal 5 Stuffed Bell Pepper   Wt - Didnt weigh this morning.

I hate the scales!

I'm having my DH & daughter hide the scales again. I am mad at myself for even weighing. Okay, I'm done venting.   Last night I made it the gym:   30 min on treadmill 1.33 miles 2% incline 2.7 mph   Menu yesterday   Bfast - shake lunch - 1/2 container of refried beans snack - 3 crackers with brie cheese spread on top & a few bites of homemade refried bean dip dinner - 1/2 cup macorroni & cheese

Wt - 169.8   Menu - Master Cleanse Diet   Not much to report except I'm really mad at myself for not getting up this morning to exercise. I know getting back to the gym is so hard, it took me a long time to get there before, but once I really commited to it, I was hooked, addicted to it. Now I'm starting all over again.   I set the alarm for 5 am, I went to bed early. I woke up at 5 am, I was awake, but did I get up. NOOOO. I just laid there and finally fell back asleep. So, I'm going to keep working at it and hopefully something will click inside me and I will get my butt out of bed!   I was planning on going last night, but I knew if I did, I would be up late and then it would be hard to get up this morning. So I decided I would not work out last night and just get up this AM. Neither plan worked!

Day 4 of my 5 am workouts!

Today makes day 4 of getting up at 4:45, and heading to the gym. I'm happy but tired at the same time. :rolleyes2:   I did sneak in a weight this morning - NOT PLEASED. I would have thought I would be down at least a pound by now, NOT.   Weight - 171.3 - I was 171.9 on Monday! So I'm down .6 - I guess its not that bad, hopefully by Monday I will be down to 170 or 169. If not, I will get there! Just slooooow   I'm going to fair tonight, so that might hinder it a bit. :clap:

4/23/07 - Day 1 of 84

I jump from 192 to 195 and keep bouncing.   It was hard getting up this morning, but I didn't want to blow the challenge the first day and I don't think I can fit my exercises in this evening so I knew I had to get up. I can push myself harder next time on the lbs I lifted. Having horrible shoulder pain so didn't push it too hard, I don't want another injury like I had before.   I'm proud of myself for getting out of bed at 5:00 am and keeping my promise to myself, I will need to stay focussed in order to finish this challenge. Day 1 completed, and 83 more days to go.   Beginning measurements for my 12 week goal -   Weight - 195 Body Fat - 41% Lean body mass - 115 lbs Fat weight - 80 lbs Neck - 14" Waist - 36" Forearm - 9 1/4" Wrist - 6 1/4" Hips 44" Thigh - 23 1/2 Bicep - 13 chest - 38 1/2 calve - 16"   BFL Goals -   I will complete the 12 week challenge I will lose 25 lbs of FAT I will gain 5 lbs of muscle to make a total loss of 20 lbs I will stay focussed I will eat clean I will not quit!

12/3/09 - my day

5:15 am - Hit the elliptical machine for 45 min   7:50 am - protein shake made with Jillian Michaels Protein powder, 1 cup skim milk, 1 TBSP peanut butter, 1 banana (383 cal)   8:35 - coffee with cream (60 cal) - I need to work on giving up the cream!   11:00 - nonfat yogurt mixed with 1/4 cup of raw oats - (203 cal)   2:00 pm - 10 baby carrots & 1/4 cup of hummus (175 cal)   6:00 pm - 2.5 oz of canned white meat chicken (70 cal)   Okay, my neighbor brought me over an ENTIRE PIE tonight - thanking me for taking care of her house while she was out. My husband, who doesn't think at times, cut all of us a piece, so I ate a VERY small piece. 1/2 of a piece. BUT............ when I went to fitday.com, it was still about 350 calories! Glad I only ate a small piece. I warned my husband that if it is not hidden, or eaten when I wake up tomorrow, he is dead meat! hahaha.   7:30 pm - 1/2 of a piece of chocolate peanut pie - 350 cal. OUCH   TOTAL CALORIES - 1250 cal - about that. Its my best estimate - the pie thru me off a bit because it was homemade. So I had somewhere between 1250 to 1350.   Even thouigh I had a little sugar fix, I still don't feel too bad. My calories are not out of control, I exercised today, so I don't think it will ruin me. The beauty of the band is, just becuase I had a piece of pie doesn't mean I "give up". I just brush it off and move on. Tomorrow morning, back to the gym!

5/6/08

Short weekend, busy weekend, but finally able to post to my blog.   Went to see Kenny Chesney, ate at Toby Keith's restraunt (I Love this Bar & Grill). I got the ribs & chicken, ate the ribs and 1 bite of chicken - full. I did have a drink, strawberry margrita - liquid calories, I know, but hey, I was having a good time :thumbdown:   Bought another drink at the concert - $12.00 for basically sugar. Won't ever do that again!   My daughter had a great time, it was her first concert.   The Friday night festivals threw me off the weekend, Didn't exercise at all all weekend! Sunday night my son was playing in a concert for family & friends, we had a cookout, I ate pretty healthy, made me chicken, but did have a little macaroni salad - yum.   Yesterday, my band was WIDE OPEN, I could eat anything and everything and basically did. Very hungry yesterday, not sure what the heck was going on.   This morning, back to restriction again. So glad of that :bored:   I am going to be so dead in a few hours, first of all, didn't get to bed until around 12:30 last night, got out of bed at 4:00 am this morning. My son had to be at the airport by 5:30 this morning. He is flying to Reno with his school. He won first place in the State competition on his Business Essay, now he is competing in the Nationals. He'll be gone for 6 whole days! I'm so proud of my boy! He's such a good kid, an all american boy. If I can just keep those darned girls away from him. lol.   Anyhow, didn't get much sleep, so I'm sure it will catch up with me soon!   Menu today   Bfast blueberry yogurt/granola   Lunch salad   Dinner roasted chicken   wt 180.7 - YUCK - TOM IS DUE   exercise -

My last meal

My last meal was Saturday night at La Mansion restaurant. I was extremely hungry and looking forward to a good Mexican meal. My dinner started off with a basket full of warm chips with extra salt sprinkled on them, and a bowel of salsa. I order a cup of smoked white queso to go with my basket of chips.   I studied the menu really long and hard, decided exactly what I wanted. I decided to go with the Enchilada supreme dinner. It came with 4 enchiladas, a beef, chicken, bean and cheese. I asked for a shrimp instead of the bean and paid the difference. I also got a quacomole salad with my dinner. Normally, when I eat a large mexican dinner like this, I have leftovers - but not Saturday night. I ate every bit of it and was practically licking the plate for any drippings left behind.   I came home stuffed clear up to my neck, and ended up eating an oreo cookie. I was so full but totally satisfied. I felt like I truly enjoyed my "last supper".:hungry:

1/23/08

still waiting on the hospital to call so I can schedule my fill! Yes, this will be fill #9 I think. - UPDATE - THEY CALLED (YAY :redface:) MY FILL APPT IS 2/12 AT 8 AM!   However, I am eating oatmeal this morning and have had to slow down a bit, so I do have some restriction! I just need something for my head, something to help with my sweet tooth.   Anyhow, I'm struggling, and I have got to get control so working very very hard at it.   Menu today   Bfast low sugar oatmeal coffee/cream   Lunch chicken breast 1/2 cup of greens   I had planned to eat the above for lunch, however, went out to lunch with my sil who was in town, she wanted mexican, I only ate 3 chips & salsa, and had 1 enchilada, no rice and a bite of two of beans. Not that great, but I feel I didn't do as bad as I could have done. I tried to eat slow and stop when I was full. I left another enchilada on the plate when we left and I didn't get a to go box. I didn't want it lingering around for me to eat!   Dinner fish green beans   Snack SF jello   PS - I DID GO EXERCISE YESTERDAY!! AND WILL DO IT AGAIN TODAY!   UPDATE - 10:26AM - just got back from the gym downstairs, took a 15 min break and went and jumped on the Elliptical. Did 15 min, 1.11 miles and burned 140 calories (according to the machine, not sure how accurate they are). I am so excited, I feel like the "old" me is BACK!   UPDATE - 3:34 PM - Just got back from the gym downstaris and did another 15 min on the elliptical. 1.12 miles, burned 141 calories. Yay me!

My fill is working! 10/12/07

Exercise yesterday - notta, my knee was throbbing so I thought I should take it easy.   Menu yesterday   Bfast - coffee with SF cream Lunch - roasted chicken, 1/2 of a chicken breast Snack - a few more bits of my chicken breast Dinner - Made some homemade hamburgers with 98% lean beef, whole wheat bread, light mayo. I split one with my daughter, and took 3 bites of it and was full. Gave the remainder of it to my DH. Had about 4 chips with some spinach dip on it.   I think my fill is working. I haven't this full by eating a few bites since my surgery. I love it! I hope it continues to work......   Wt this morning 173.8

Wt 180.3 - its going down!!!!! I'm drinking my water!!!!   I was in a lot of pain yesterday, and turns out a I have a bladder infection, so I need to keep drinking my water. I hate getting old, I swear, I feel like my body is falling apart. My back hurts so bad, my kneck, my knee, grrrrrr. I want to have the energy I used to have. It wears me out just to clean my house anymore. I know the more weight I lose, the better I will feel. That should motivate me to continue my journey.   Menu today   Bfast 2 boiled eggs, 2 thin bacons with mustard & mayo mixed in together. Made a bacon/egg salad. good   Mid-morning coffee w/cream   Lunch tuna - mustard celery stick   Dinner grilled

3/3/09 - Day 2 of getting up at 4:45 am!

I did it, I did it, I did it. I was up at the gym by 5 am. I really had a hard time this morning though. My legs felt like jello and I had no strength, I noticed I was very week. I am going to eat more protein today and see if that helps. Also, I need to go to bed earlier. I didn't hit the pillow until 11 pm last night and woke up hungry at 3:47 am. I couldn't go back to sleep so I got up and got ready to hit the gym.   I weighed in last night at WW and according to their scales, I've lost 3 lbs since last week (making it a total loss of 2.6 lbs since joining ww).   The weightloss is going slow, but it is going. I'm so close to getting to goal and I can taste it. This year I will hit my goal! I know it.   Menu today:   Bfast Egg white omlet, made with turkey sausage, mushrooms, peppers, onions, salsa, WW cheese - 5.5 pts 1/2 whole wheat mini bagel .5 pts Lunch - tossed salad made with lemon dressing and diced tomatoes - 0 pts WW meal - 4 pts Nectarine - 1 pt peaches - 1 pt Dinner - Taco made with lean beef - 5 pts WW dessert - 4 pts   Wt - Naked - 165.4 WW scales with clothes on - 169.0   Exercise - 25 min on elliptical - 5 am

Fill #1 - 3/6/07 - 2.2cc's Fill #2 - 4/17/07 - 3.0cc's Fill #3 - 7/6/07 - 3.5 cc's (I think it was only 2.5cc's because when I went back for fill #4, he could only w/draw 1.8 cc's) Fill #4 - 7/20/07 - filled me back to 3.0 ccs - He should have filled me more! Fill #5 - 8/17/07 - 3.4cc's Fill #6 - 10/08/07 - filled me to 3.8cc's - the restriction I've ever had,but still could eat big bites of food, so I figured I needed to be tighter. Fill #7 - 11/21/07 filled to 4.0 cc's. By the evening could not hold anything down, not even my saliva. PBing all night - horrilble experieince 11/23/07 - Unfill - Got unfill and because of the swelling and all the PBing, doc took my fill down to 3.0cc's. NO RESTRICTION AGAIN Fill #8 - 1/18/08 Went in and the doc filled me back up to just right under 4.0, according to Flouro, it was perfect. Well, by next morning, could not hold down saliva again, ended up back in hospital and the Doc had to take me back down to 3.0. grrrr. Now I'm back where I was in November, barely restriction again. Fill #9 - Scheduled for 2/12 at 8 am. This time I will not let him fill me to 4.0, I will only go to 3.8 or a bit higher where I was at Fill #6.

My latest fill is still pretty good, I think I might need just a tad more then I will be done. I'm so glad he finally listened to me and quit taking all the fluid out each time. My way is working!!!! Well, its been a bit since I've journaled. So, back to journeling......   Still doing weight watchers and I weigh in tonight - I'm hoping I have lost!   Exercise lately has been hit or miss, mostly miss. But eating has been right on!

8/27/08

I did not make it to the gym last week, bad me! I just had too much going on, however, I'm back at it this week.   Today's menu so far Bfast - iced mocha from mcD's with skim milk - bad, liquid calories. And 1 jal pepper baked with LF cream cheese - co-worker brought it to me this morning, very good.   Lunch - Logans Steak House - I had 8 oz steak - but only ate about 2 to 3 oz of it, grilled veggies and steamed mushrooms. Did pretty good, I did not eat the bread!   Dinner - 2 oz of ground lean beef, LC tortillia, salsa.   Exercise - 10:00 am - 16 min on elliptical 3:00 pm - 15 min on elliptical 9:00 pm - 40 min on elliptical   Total calories burned - approximately 550 to 600 - You would think those darned scales would move! Those bastards!   Wt - staying off the scales, tired of watching them not move. this is so hard for me! I weigh 2 to 3 times a day and it is so depressing to me when they go up and not down. I am either weighing once a week or I will weigh when I feel like I've lost. I have such a love/hate relationship with those darned scales.:party:

95 days until 1 year band anniversary!

wt this morning 172.2   I felt like I could still eat too much this weekend, however, the scales show differently.   I still can eat regular bites of food, but I do have to slow down. I'm wondering if I need just a tiny bit more of a fill?   I was ordered off my knee for the weekend because it was really swollen on Friday. They also ordered me back to 2 crutches instead of the one. So, no exercise for me over the weekend.   I have 95 days until 1/18, my 1 year Band Anniversary. I still would like to lose 24.2 pounds to reach my goal by my 1 year, which means, I will need to lose 1.78 lbs per week in order to lose it.   I am aiming to reach 145 by 1/18, however, if I reach the 150's, I will be happy.   Menu this weekend has been a bit spuratic - I've eaten cereal for breakfast, that usually holds me over until almost dinner.   I had some roast last night for dinner and rice, about 1/2 cup of each, maybe? I was full really fast it seemed.

Filled me up to 4.0 cc's, I left, had to go right back because I could not drink, he took out a little over .2 cc's, he said I'm somewhere between 3.5 to 3.7 cc's. - I had great restriction for 2 weeks, but It has now loosened some. I feel I might need a tad more. I'm worried I have a very slow leak.   FILL #12 - SCHEDULED FOR 8/17/08
