Pre-Opt Diet is harder than expected!

Okay yesterday I was suppose to start the pre-opt diet, but messed up. So today is going really well, but I am wanting to eat! So this morning I had one New Whey protein shot (42grams) on ice. Lunch: I had one New Whey protein shot (42grams) blended with about one cup of skim milk and ice. I also had a can of cream of broccoli soup w/ a half of cup of skim milk instead of using water. Honestly I am not hungry...I guess since I can't have what I want it's driving me crazy. Tonight I will have one Ramen noodle package (only seasoning) and mix it with one can of beef broth. I have already thrown the noodles away. I hope I can make it to 1/11. I guess it all depends on the doctor...one doctor say no pre-opt diet required and another say two week pre-opt is required! Oh well I will do my best to follow this stuff.   Be BLESSED, Sheila

Atkins Diet

I've decided to start the Atkins Diet to get the last 21 pounds off me. I started on 7/2, so maybe this will get the fat to burn once I reach the Ketosis stage.   Menu-7/2   Breakfast: Nothing   Lunch: Wendy's pattie w/ cheese and lettuce Peanuts 6 carbs Sugarfree raspberry tea   Dinner: Ground beef pattie w/ my super good ZERO carb gravy w/ slices of jalepenos Steamed veggies (broccoli sauteed in butter and garlic) 1 Slice of ZERO carb cheese cake.   Exercise: 3 1/2 miles   Be blessed!

Day Four on Liquids

Well today was great! I ran three miles and only had liquids. I bought more Kelloggs Protein shakes 10grams of protein and 5grams of fiber. The chocolate is really good, but I bought vanilla and strawberry tonight! Yay! My goal is to lose THREE pounds by Saturday! I can DO IT:thumbup:!! Until next time KEEP THE FAITH!

Finally No More 189!!

Okay thanks to my 2nd fill and some hard workouts, I am finally at 187!!!:clap2: I can't remember the last time I weighed 180 anything:clap2::whoo:My super mini goal is to weigh 185 by Monday!!! So i will have to really workout hard and stay on liquids/puree foods, which is directed by my doctor. Yep Pee for Mee!!:bounce::dance::dance:

Am I Dreaming??

Okay, another pound gone?? I had a mini goal to lose 5lbs by Sunday, but I lost four. So this morning I weighed and lost another pound! 35lbs lost total...this is amazing!!! 1st PB!

Hello everyone,   I have been meaning to blog, but I have been so busy lately. But a few weeks ago I had my first PB!! It was after 230am (shouldn't have been eating that late!) and I was eat a corn dog, I think I may have been eating too fast. And I felt something that was maybe a little stuck. And then it happened and I was sooooooooo scared!!! OMG!!! But afterward I decided not to finish my food and I went to bed. I don't ever want that to happen again!   Be blessed!

2nd Fill

I had my 2nd fill on 8/1, so hopefully I will jump start my weight loss again. I have been at 189 for weeks and I hate it, but I have been losing inches. So only time will tell... Be blessed!

Try Try Again Liquids for Two Weeks

Today is was day one of the liquid phase. I am trying to get that momentum back if at all possible. SO! I had 52 grams of Whey protein and sugarfree juice and one popsicle. And I went running in probably 99-100+ degree weather. I pray I can continue...but I do have another fill scheduled for Wednesday the 28th of this month. This fill will be number five in over three years. Until tomorrow, Keep the Faith.

No Fill Today

Well I went in for my first fill, but when I told Dr. Harper what has been happening he decided today wasn't a good time. I was fine with that since I don't think I need one. If is't up to me I'd rather not have a fill...it's been eleven weeks and I'm still losing. So hopefully, I can go longer:phanvan. I had the Barium and it went straight through the band, so that was good. I thought my band had slipped, but it's in place:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:. Today's workout was tough on me, I walked my 3 1/2 miles, but I had on my plastic sweat suit and a jogging suit on top of that!!!:faint: :faint: :faint: I know I was wrong for that!! My legs were weak and I felt like I was going to past out and I think the temperature was in the 80's today:faint: :faint: but I kept going to the end. Tomorrow I will take it easy and no more double layered workouts!!   Be BLESSED!

Day Two Liquids

After being without air last night, I think I am full from sugarfree Kool-Aid! But this morning I will have some clear soup and more sugarfree Kool-Aid. As soon as the ac tech get here I will go run my 3 1/2 miles and do my weights.   God bless!

One More Pound To Go!!

Okay I've already passed my original goal to be at 210 by the end of March, because I am at 209:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: However, my second goal was to lose 15 pounds for the month of March and I am 1 pound short of meeting that goal!! I have one more day to go, I know I can do it!!!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: I am sooo close to ONEDERLAND I can taste it!!!! It's on now, as a matter of fact it's been on!!!! 9 pounds you have to go!!!! I have 40 more pounds to kick to the curb!!!! Be Blessed!

I've lost another pound:whoo::whoo:I am hoping I lose another pound by the end of the day on Monday. I'm really trying hard, but the heat has been so bad here lately. Anyway, I'm sure I will do it!! Be blessed

Didn't Meet June Goal

I didn't meet my goal for June and honestly I have slack on my eating. I still work out a lot (walking mostly), but I need to start lifting weights to get my arms and legs in shape. I need to lose 21 more pounds to be at goal. So I don't know what I need to do to get them off. I was thinking about doing the low carb diet again to lose and gain muscle, but I'm not sure. I know I am tired of being stuck at 191! Anyway, I'll figure it out. I have the 10cc band and my first fill was on 6/6/07. I know I need another fill, but I was trying to lose the 21 pounds without getting another one. Well, it will all work out and the 21 pounds will eventually come off.   Be blessed!

Fourth fill

On June 1st I had my fourth fill and I think this maybe the one. Now I am aware in the mornings the band is tighter, but this is crazy! I had a peanut butter cracker on yesterday and I was doubled over! And it happened today. However, I must say I am EXCITED! But the stuck feeling is not good.

Menu: 7/5   Breakfast: Nothing   Lunch: Grilled chicken wings w/ grilled zucchini squash and low carb/sugarfree cole slaw. Snack: Peanuts Dinner: Leftovers grilled chicken wings w/ grilled zucchini squash and low carb/sugarfree cole slaw Exercise: Walking/Running 3 1/2 miles Weights Be blessed!

Treadmill Workout

I will admit that I do not like the treadmill. I can walk 3 1/2 miles at a hilly park, but on the treadmill I normally do over 1 1/2 mile in 30 minutes. However, last nighht I did 2 miles, burned 260 calories, 81 fat calories in 32:55 minutes and I was jogging the entire time! That's a treadmill goal for me! I'm trying to break this stupid plateau! Anyway, my menu yesterday:   Breakfast: Nothing Lunch: Half of Orange Roughy stuffed w/ crab cake and shrimp Dinner: 1/2 cup of 1/3 less sugar frosty flakes w/ skim milk     Be Blessed!

Day 9 on Atkins

Menu: 7/11 Breafast: Nothing Lunch: Surprise, surprise zero carb gravy w/peppered BEEF :faint:patties, with broccoli w/ sauteed garlic and onion (pretty good). Snack: Nothing   Dinner: Zero carb gravy w/peppered BEEF :faint:patties, with broccoli w/ sauteed garlic and onion   Exercise: Strength training (weights) Be blessed!

Day 11 on Atkins

Menu 7/12 Breakfast: Nothing Snack: Nothing Lunch: Spicy chicken in steamed broccoli in homemade zero carb Alfredo sauce (so GOOD, Olive Garden's alfredo sauce recipe). Dinner: Grill chicken wings and grilled zuquinni squash w/ my special butter blend. Exercise: Run/ Walk 3 1/2 miles, strength training

Day 12 on Atkins

Menu 7/13   Breakfast: Nothing     Lunch: Leftover grilled chicken wings w/ grilled zuquinni squash     Dinner: Leftover grilled chicken wings w/ grilled zuquinni squash   Exercise: Run/ Walk 3 1/2, Strength training   Be blessed!

Menu: 7/7/07 Breakfast: Nothing/Tea (sugarfree) Lunch: Cheeseburger pattie with dill pickle relish, mayo and a little onion Snack: Low carb cheesecake Dinner: Cheeseburger pattie with dill pickle relish, mayo and a little onion Exercise: Walking/Running 3 1/2 miles this morning. Be blessed!

Menu: 7/6/07 Breakfast: Nothing/Peanuts Lunch: Two homemade hamburger patties w/ cheese, little bit of onion Snack: Low carb cheesecake Dinner: Two homemade hamburger patties w/ cheese, little bit of onion Exercise: Got my hair done! Be blessed!

Day 7 & 8 On Atkins

Menu 7/8/   Breakfast: Nothing Lunch: Chicken wings (fried:eek: no flour:)) Dinner: Two cheeseburger patties w/ dill pickle relish, onion and mayo   Snack: Low carb cheesecake, Propel water. Exercise: 3 1/2 mile (IN THE HOT HEAT)!!!   Menu 7/9 Breakfast: Nothing Lunch: Two cheeseburger patties w/ dill pickle relish, onion mayo (I'm getting sick of beef!)   Snack: Peanuts (2) 12 carbs Dinner: Probably BEEF!!!!!!   Exercise: Run/Walk 3 1/2 miles   Be blessed!
