Day 2 Post Opt

Today is okay, I'm trying to get the shakes down. I mixed the 3oz. protein shot w/ 3oz. of skim milk,Splenda and two ice cubes together in the blender. I could only get about 60cc down. I will keep trying...next time I won't use the blender. I think the blender makes it too thick. Other than that I am good. I'm not in any pain what so ever. I am ready for the puree stage, oh yeah and the mushies!!   Be BLESSED!

Day 2 of Atkins Diet

Menu 7/3   Breakfast: ? Maybe nothing   Snack: Peanuts 6 carbs   Lunch: Leftovers Ground beef pattie w/ my super good ZERO carb gravy w/ slices of jalepenos Steamed veggies (broccoli sauteed in butter and garlic) 1 Slice of ZERO carb cheese cake.   Dinner: Leftovers Ground beef pattie w/ my super good ZERO carb gravy w/ slices of jalepenos Steamed veggies (broccoli sauteed in butter and garlic) 1 Slice of ZERO carb cheese cake.   Exercise: Walking 3 1/2 miles Weights!!!   Be blessed!

Day 14 On Liquids

Okay today I completed my 42nd mile! Since Monday I have been walking and running a total of six miles! Anyway as far as protein I had:   42 grams of protein in the form of a shake 20oz water vitamins Can of Cream of Celery

Day 12 on Atkins

Menu 7/13   Breakfast: Nothing     Lunch: Leftover grilled chicken wings w/ grilled zuquinni squash     Dinner: Leftover grilled chicken wings w/ grilled zuquinni squash   Exercise: Run/ Walk 3 1/2, Strength training   Be blessed!

Day 11 On Liquids!

Today I:   Ran three miles and walked three miles Had a protein shake 42 grams of Protein smoothie Water Vitamins

Day 11 on Liquids (well sort of)

Ok today on lunch I was really craving something filling, so I went to Taco Bell and got ONE order of pintos and cheese (very small container) and it did the trick. I guess you can say that counts as a mushy?? But that was all I had for lunch, but when I got home I had a little hummus and that was it! I won't have a protein shake tonight, I'm trying to figure out if I am drinking them to late and that's causing the scale to be mean :cursing:to me the next day!! So I will see in the morning, if so I will start drinking them in the morning instead. Until next time Keep the FAITH!:cool:

Menu 7/12 Breakfast: Nothing Snack: Nothing Lunch: Spicy chicken in steamed broccoli in homemade zero carb Alfredo sauce (so GOOD, Olive Garden's alfredo sauce recipe). Dinner: Grill chicken wings and grilled zuquinni squash w/ my special butter blend. Exercise: Run/ Walk 3 1/2 miles, strength training

Day 10 on Atkins

Menu-7/11     Breakfast: Nothing   Snack: Peanuts 6 carbs   Lunch: Nothing   Snack: Few pork rinds   Dinner: Chicken (FINALLY) fixed some spicy way   Exercise: Run/Walk 3 1/2 miles, strength training       Be blessed!

Pre-Opt Menu:     Breakfast: New Whey 42gram fruit punch protein shot blended w/ ice and 1 cup of skim milk and Splenda.   Lunch: Caldo de Pollo w/ a hint of lime     Dinner: Same as above

Change of Mind?

After reading the post about having regrets (wow!), I think I have a change of mind about wls. I am sitting here thinking that only one time in my life I put forth great effort to lose weight and all the other times I was just greedy and messed up. I know I have paid money for doctor visits and nutritionists, but I don't think I am ready to have surgery just to lose weight. It is hard being heavy and I am sad at times...but I don't think I can put myself through the sugery. My husband wants me to have the surgery and I have one sister who is for it and a few friends, but I'm not sure if they just agree with it because I am/was all excited about it. Now I may change my mind in the morning when I can't fit into some clothes for work, but as of this very moment my mind is changed. I don't want my stomach folded a bit and stitched in any kind of way, other than the way God made it. I am ranting for a moment...man...I will see how I feel this week. I feel bad, because there are so many that would love to have an approval from their insurance company and here I am with one and now I change my mind. I should have really thought it out before I jumped the gun and started the process. I will pray about it.

Bandland Is Nearing!

Today has been a great day, thank you LORD! Here's my daily pre-opt menu.   Breakfast/Lunch (after 2pm)   New Whey 42 gram grape (yum) protein shot w/ 1 cup of skim milk blended w/ ice. Caldo de pollo con limon (chicken broth, Better Than Bouillon, red chili peppers, chile Guajillo), and another cup of skim milk w/ two sugar free low carb fudge popsicles (pretty good).   Dinner: Carbon Copy of above.   I have to say one thing above Better Than Bouillon. GREAT!   Be BLESSED

Banded A Week Later

Well it's been a week since banded and I'm better. The one thing that is bothering me is going through another week of liquids. I know it is necessary, but I'm having a hard time. At least let me get to the puree stage!! I think I just heard my stomach for the first time...oh well. Dr. Madan is impressed with my weight lose, so that's good. This morning I did get on the treadmill at a really fast pace. Other than that I'm still day dreaming of being small.   Be BLESSED!

Back At Work

Today is my first day back at work and it's going good. I prepared everything last night, so I could get my protein in today. It's going good.   Be Blessed!

Atkins Diet

I've decided to start the Atkins Diet to get the last 21 pounds off me. I started on 7/2, so maybe this will get the fat to burn once I reach the Ketosis stage.   Menu-7/2   Breakfast: Nothing   Lunch: Wendy's pattie w/ cheese and lettuce Peanuts 6 carbs Sugarfree raspberry tea   Dinner: Ground beef pattie w/ my super good ZERO carb gravy w/ slices of jalepenos Steamed veggies (broccoli sauteed in butter and garlic) 1 Slice of ZERO carb cheese cake.   Exercise: 3 1/2 miles   Be blessed!

April's Goal!!

Okay my goal for the month of April is to lose 10 pounds!! Once I do that I will be at 198!!! I can't believe I will be living in OnederLAND by the end of April!!! So I will have to stay on track with my workouts or kick it up!! So many are telling me not to get under 180, but I will NOT listen! MY goal is 160!!! Be BLESSED!

Another Pound Off ME!!

Am I Dreaming??

Okay, another pound gone?? I had a mini goal to lose 5lbs by Sunday, but I lost four. So this morning I weighed and lost another pound! 35lbs lost total...this is amazing!!!
