2 Year Baniversary!!!

As I was running this morning it hit me that today is my two year Baniversary!!! And I am so proud of myself!! Two years later, three fills and now with no restriction:cursing:!! I am on a mission to still meet my goal though...170 where are you:confused:??? Hey others have asked me where would I get thirteen pounds from anyway, but oooh there are plenty of places!! Haha!!

196!!!

I went dancing on Friday after I did my 3 1/2 miles and I am I am so happy with the weight loss. I must say, I don't remember ever being 196 before. So for the scale to read 196 it blows me away!! Well, I have to keep up the weight loss, I have 13:omg: pounds to lose for the month of May to meet my goal of 16 pounds!!!   Be BLESSED!

Day 11 on Atkins

Menu 7/12 Breakfast: Nothing Snack: Nothing Lunch: Spicy chicken in steamed broccoli in homemade zero carb Alfredo sauce (so GOOD, Olive Garden's alfredo sauce recipe). Dinner: Grill chicken wings and grilled zuquinni squash w/ my special butter blend. Exercise: Run/ Walk 3 1/2 miles, strength training

One week to go!

I have one week to go until I'm banded! I am starting to get nervous again, but I know it will be alright. I will meet w/ the surgeon on tomorrow and have some other tests done by the anesthesiologist at the hospital. So I may be there about a half of day. Then I'm going to the school submit my papers for class on 1/16. So I have no earthly idea what time I will be in to work. Other than that it's a new day and I am giving this liquid thing another go. Surgeon Change

Hello everyone,   I have decided to go Dr. Atul Madan at UT Medical, since Dr. Woodman charges an additional 500.00! I've did a lot of research and I feel comfortable with my decision. My primary care physician sent my letter of reccomendation to me today, so I have all the necessay paper work to submit to UHC. Hello!

Wow! Where did the year go! I can't believe that it is almost my 2 year band anniversary!!! Lord! But I thank God that I have not had any problems!! I am really trying hard to meet my goal by 1/11/09 without RESTRICTION:angry_smile:!!!! But I have been in range of it....so I will see! Anyway I hope all is well with everyone! God Bless! Oh yeah my birthday was on November 4th! And my present was OBAMA's victory!!! Thank you Jesus!! What a GREAT birthday present!!!

Down a Pound!!

Although I am still have these pains, I have lost another pound!!! I am waiting for my test result to come in, but like I said the doc that gave me the test assumes everything is normal. I was also told that I may be experiencing muscle spasms in my chest! Well for now I'm happy about my weight loss. I also walked three miles today!!!   Be Blessed!

Long Time No Write!

Hi everyone,   It's been awhile since I've been here. However, everything is going well...I've been taking Lipo6 and I can't tell a difference. I think it's because my workouts have been less and I've been eating a bit (that'll do it), but the good news is I haven't gained!! Anyway, today is my fourth day on liquids. As much as I hated this phase in the beginning it's working out good this time around for some reason. Maybe I am anxious about my 2 year anniversary on 10/1 and my birthday on 11/4. So I'm hoping I will be down about five pounds by Sunday when I weigh:embarassed:!! I just need to lose 16 MORE!!:faint: I think I can, I know I can...I CAN!!! Be blessed!

Noooo restriction!!

Okay I have had 3 fills and I still don't have any restriction and I am starting to thing my band has eroded:cursing:!! But I pray that it has not. I have scheduled my 4th fill, but it is not til December 10th!:cry_smile:   Be blessed!   ***UPDATE!!!!**** MY 4TH FILL WAS CANCELED WITH DR. WEAVER (different Dr. and hospital)!!!!! NOT TO MENTION THAT UT MEDICAL NO LONGER HAVE A WEIGHT LOSS DEPARTMENT ANYMORE!! I HAD TO RESCHEDULE AND MISS DR. WEAVER IS CHARGING A 350.00 TRANSFER FEE!!! SO WHATEVER!! I WILL CONTINUE ON WITHOUTH ANYMORE FILLS!!

Met With My Surgeon Today

Today I met with Dr. Madan and it went really well. He was very informative and nice; smooth talker. He said I have a small abodomen (woohoo), I was like thank you! I am still nervous about the whole thing!! :eek: :eek: I know it will be aight thought...God doesn't give me the spirit of fear! Well I have five more days to go until banded!!! I will give it my all to continue on the pre-opt diet!     Be BLESSED

Shopping List Complete!

Today I bought more New Whey 42 gram protein shots (whole box), Whey vanilla protein powder, Hibiclen, liquid Tylenol, large adhesive pads, slippers, robe, more chicken broth, "Better Than Bouillon", timer, large Ziploc bags and more POPSICLES!! Already have chewable vitamins, chewable Gas-X, and chewable calcium, I didn't get the BBQ tongs...   **Pre-Opt Diet Update**   Breakfast (1pm) One New Whey 42 gram protein shot w/ 1/2 cup of skim milk blended w/ ice and sugar free popsicles (3).   That's it so far...   For Dinner: I will have One New Whey 42 gram protein shot w/ 1/2 cup of skim milk blended w/ ice and sugar free popsicles. Caldo de pollo con limon y chile, I will make enough to freeze for next week.   Be Blessed!

184!!

Well since yesterday, I'm down 2 pounds:clap2:!! I'm :whoo:184!!! :whoo:I really worked out hard today. Today is day five of liquids, I kinda want to keeping doing it, but I'm not sure if it will be healthy. Anyway, tomorrow's another hard workout day and I'm still shooting to lost three more pounds by Sunday. Be blessed!

Treadmill Workout

I will admit that I do not like the treadmill. I can walk 3 1/2 miles at a hilly park, but on the treadmill I normally do over 1 1/2 mile in 30 minutes. However, last nighht I did 2 miles, burned 260 calories, 81 fat calories in 32:55 minutes and I was jogging the entire time! That's a treadmill goal for me! I'm trying to break this stupid plateau! Anyway, my menu yesterday:   Breakfast: Nothing Lunch: Half of Orange Roughy stuffed w/ crab cake and shrimp Dinner: 1/2 cup of 1/3 less sugar frosty flakes w/ skim milk     Be Blessed!

June Challenge

Well, since my first fill on 6/6/07 I've lost 4 pounds!!!!:clap2::clap2: So I will need to lose 8 more pounds to get back on track. I'm excited about being at my ultimate goal of 170 by the end of next month!!! Be blessed

1st PB!

Hello everyone,   I have been meaning to blog, but I have been so busy lately. But a few weeks ago I had my first PB!! It was after 230am (shouldn't have been eating that late!) and I was eat a corn dog, I think I may have been eating too fast. And I felt something that was maybe a little stuck. And then it happened and I was sooooooooo scared!!! OMG!!! But afterward I decided not to finish my food and I went to bed. I don't ever want that to happen again!   Be blessed!

Pre-Opt Diet Menu Before Surgery

Breakfast: Nothing   Lunch: Chicken broth cooked with Better Than Bouillon, water, apple juice diluted w/ water.   Dinner: Chicken broth cooked with Better Than Bouillon. Popsicles, popsicles!

Today

Well when I leave work I'm heading to school until around 7:30 and I will come straight home and WORK IT OUT!!! I will break my treadmill record today!!!   Breakfast- Grapes and Crackers (8) Lunch- About 10 Sun Chips Snack- Grapes Dinner-Nothing Snack- Sugarfree Blue Bell The Great Divide (YUMMMM)   Be Blessed!

2nd Fill

I had my 2nd fill on 8/1, so hopefully I will jump start my weight loss again. I have been at 189 for weeks and I hate it, but I have been losing inches. So only time will tell... Be blessed!

No Restriction

I am getting mad because the scale say I have gain two pounds. I assume it's all the water I am drinking. Nevertheless it is bothering me. i won't drink any water for the rest of the night to see what happens. I do not need this!!

Finally No More 189!!

Okay thanks to my 2nd fill and some hard workouts, I am finally at 187!!!:clap2: I can't remember the last time I weighed 180 anything:clap2::whoo:My super mini goal is to weigh 185 by Monday!!! So i will have to really workout hard and stay on liquids/puree foods, which is directed by my doctor. Yep Pee for Mee!!:bounce::dance::dance:
