Double Cheeseburger & Fries!

Okay late last night after I got in bed I freak out about not eating some of my fav foods. So at 11:15PM I went tearing up the house for change, since my ATM card is deactivated (thank God). I found money and off to Wendy's I went! I ordered a double stack w/ extra mayo and medium fry! mane! I felt like an addict! Afterwards I wanted to cry, because I can't continue to mess up the pre-opt diet. So I feel really bad...I meet with the surgeon on 1/5 and I hope he won't notice:embarassed:. I don't know :phanvan. Starting today I will have ONLY liquids!   Be Blessed!

UHC Approval!!

I am finally approved for the Lap Band!!! Yet still nervous and scared...point blank. I guess it's the whole idea of putting something inside me that do not belong. I feel like I am saying the same things over and over again, but I can't help it. I've had a breast reduction before so it's not the surgery that is bothering me. I don't know...I'm just scared:cry   Sheila Be BLESSED!

It's Still There!

Well after using different remedies for what I thought was trapped gas. The only thing so far that has helped is the meat tenderizer, lemon juice and pineapple juice mixture. I did buy the Papaya Enzyme supplement by American Health at Wild Oats. I got the "super" Papaya Enzyme Plus and I can't tell a difference yet. I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I just made another cup and I put two of the Papaya Enzyme tablets in it. I'm just trying to maximize my results, anyway I hope everything is going good for everyone else. This too shall pass.   Be Blessed!

March Goal!

I'm setting a goal to lose 15lbs this month!! I need to increase my cardio and also my EATING. I know I eat about 500 or less calories a day and that is not healthy. Yesterday I had a half of sausage w/ not even a half of "biscuit" and gravy for breakfast, no lunch and no dinner. I don't get hungry anymore. It has been seven weeks since surgery and I still have a lot of restriction.   Clothes update: I'm in a pair of pants I have worn in over two years!!!! :clap2: :clap2: I knew I wasn't suppose to throw them away!!!! Lipo 6

I will be starting Lipo 6 on 8/11 to increase my weightloss. I have heard a lot of good things about it and hopefully it will work. I know Telly takes it and look at her!! So I will see. Be blessed!

Day 3 Liquids Update

On yesterday, 12/28/11 I had the following:   Isopure Protein 50 grams of protein shake Multi-vitamin Calcium Water   And I ran 3 1/2 miles!

Day 8 On Liquids

Ran three miles and walked three miles. 42 gram protein shot 40 oz. of water or so Vitamins Broccoli cheese soup 6oz.

Work It Out!!!

Well yesterday I did my 3 1/2 miles at the park and I felt so good! Not to mention I lost another pound! So that's three pounds from my fifteen pound goal for this month. Then last night as I was getting ready to go meet with some friends I decided to "try" on another pair of my jeans from three years ago and they fit BETTER now than they did then!!!! We had a girls night out and danced and I did my salsa and merengue and tore the floor UP! So I am too happy...I don't think I have ever said this before, but I love my BAND! Post Opt Day 6

Hello everyone,   I am on day seven since surgery and it's going well. I can not seem to drink more than about 42 or so grams of protein. I will discuss that with the nutritionist today...other than that I drink Crystal Light and eat popsicle and chicken noodle broth. I haven't weighed, but I can tell a difference in my clothes and face. I assume they will weigh me today. Until next time, I will type ya later.   Be BLESSED!

New ME, NEW Year!!!

I thank my Lord Jesus for BLESSING me to see another year!! Thank you JESUS!!! I'm ready for a new attitude, mind, goals, to be a more understanding wife (submisive), SPIRIT, and a new me! I look forward to ALL the great things GOD have instored for me for HIS Glory!! Hallelujah!!! Until My 3rd Fill

On 3/6/07 I started the Pre/Post diet to jump start my weight loss again. I am sick of these 13 or so pounds lingering around. So today is day two and I only had my Nectar shake for breakfast. I also took a Lipo6 so I am not hungry even at 6:48 (cst). I go for my 3rd fill on 3/20 and I really hope Dr. T will give it to me. The last time he said I didn't need one :confused_smile:! Well I know I need to drink another shake or have some broth.   Until next time...   Be blessed!   P.S. It's finally SNOWING!!!!

Post Opt Day 9

Well I seem to have this protein drinking down. It seems like I can drink about a cup with some restriction. I also have about a half of cup of some kind of soup/broth. I eat a few popsicles now, before it was a lot. I'm not having that much of an appetite...if protein wasn't important I doubt if I would drink anything. I'm just not in the mood for anything except what I can't have. Anyway, I will start the puree stage on the 25th! Woohoo!!   Be BLESSED!

I am at work and eating POPCORN!!! I can't help it!!!   Breakfast: Homemade beef stew (ate the meat & little veggies)   Lunch: New Whey 42gr protein shot (missed having my shake, didn't have time) Chicken broth w/ Ramen noodle seasoning only Water...oh yea the popcorm   Dinner: leftover Albondigas, New Whey 42 gr protein (straight) Sugarfree Popsicles! Wanna be sugarfree chocolate shake (not so good) I did buy some new sugarfree popsicles at Sam's made by Phillyswirl. They aight need more fruit flavor, but it's a good snack.

Day 7 & 8 On Atkins

Menu 7/8/   Breakfast: Nothing Lunch: Chicken wings (fried:eek: no flour:)) Dinner: Two cheeseburger patties w/ dill pickle relish, onion and mayo   Snack: Low carb cheesecake, Propel water. Exercise: 3 1/2 mile (IN THE HOT HEAT)!!!   Menu 7/9 Breakfast: Nothing Lunch: Two cheeseburger patties w/ dill pickle relish, onion mayo (I'm getting sick of beef!)   Snack: Peanuts (2) 12 carbs Dinner: Probably BEEF!!!!!!   Exercise: Run/Walk 3 1/2 miles   Be blessed!

Food Stuck?? Meat Tenderizer??

***I posted this thread and decided to add it to my journal.***   Hi everyone,   Lately I have been feeling like I have trapped gas for over a week. My doctor prescribed Prevacid 30mg, today is day three on it and no change. So last night I use an old remedy of baking powder and warm water. I felt okay for a few minutes, then it was back. Today I called the doctor again and ask the receptionist I could drink a little bit of diet coke to relieve the gas and Dr. Madan must have over heard her talking to me and said NO. He thinks some food is stuck, so he told me to go home and get some meat tenderizer and water (warm?) and drink it. He said it is not the best as far as taste goes (ya think?), but it will help break up any food that could be stuck. So I'm gonna try it tonight. Have anyone else heard of this "remedy"?   Be BLESSED! Sheila:help:

Menu: 7/11 Breafast: Nothing Lunch: Surprise, surprise zero carb gravy w/peppered BEEF :faint:patties, with broccoli w/ sauteed garlic and onion (pretty good). Snack: Nothing   Dinner: Zero carb gravy w/peppered BEEF :faint:patties, with broccoli w/ sauteed garlic and onion   Exercise: Strength training (weights) Be blessed!

Menu-7/11     Breakfast: Nothing   Snack: Peanuts 6 carbs   Lunch: Nothing   Snack: Few pork rinds   Dinner: Chicken (FINALLY) fixed some spicy way   Exercise: Run/Walk 3 1/2 miles, strength training       Be blessed!
