One Month Banded and Down 23 Pounds!

Well it's been a month already and I am doing great! I went to Dr. Madan's office, but he wasn't there so I saw Dr. Tschansky (good doc too). He said my weight loss is really good and to keep it going. I was suppose start on my mushy stage today, but he said I can start eating solid food now. I was already eating mushy foods, so I can kick it up another notch. Well that's all for now.   Be Blessed!

Oh My....

Okay I can't wait until I get my first fill!!! I really ate TOO much over the weekend!! I ate soul food on Saturday and a bite or two of cake, then I ate a tiny slice of pizza. On yesterday I ate three tacos, potato salad, baked beans, hot link, slice of chocolate chip cheese cake and a few bites of a cherry cheese cake. I was really BADD!!! But it was GOOD!!! Okay today I have already eaten a grab bag of sour cream Ruffles 400 calories!! My May goal is really looking unreachable...I need to lose 12:cry :cry pounds by May 31st! :heh: :heh: I'm going to try my best to meet it!!!!   Be blessed

Oh MY Goodness!!

Okay, this morning I my journal entry say I need to lost 2 pounds to be in wonderland and I need to lost 3 pounds to meet my April goal of 10 pounds. Well,I went to church came home (I still haven't eaten) and went straight to the park. I stopped by the grocery store on my way home, and soon as I got in I got on the scale it is say: 200 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now I need to lose 1 pound to be in 1DERLAND and 2 pounds to meet my April goal of 10 pounds. I think I'm more excited to be in 1DERLAND than to meet my April goal! I can't beleive it I should be ARRIVING in 1DERLAND by tomorrow!! I took the advice from one of the celebrity trainers (I can't remember his name). He said it's good to work out on an empty stomach, so that's what I'll do. As for today I'm getting ready to have some soup!!! It feels like Christ-mas Eve today and tomorrow is Christ-mas!!   Be Blessed!

Noooo restriction!!

Okay I have had 3 fills and I still don't have any restriction and I am starting to thing my band has eroded:cursing:!! But I pray that it has not. I have scheduled my 4th fill, but it is not til December 10th!:cry_smile:   Be blessed!   ***UPDATE!!!!**** MY 4TH FILL WAS CANCELED WITH DR. WEAVER (different Dr. and hospital)!!!!! NOT TO MENTION THAT UT MEDICAL NO LONGER HAVE A WEIGHT LOSS DEPARTMENT ANYMORE!! I HAD TO RESCHEDULE AND MISS DR. WEAVER IS CHARGING A 350.00 TRANSFER FEE!!! SO WHATEVER!! I WILL CONTINUE ON WITHOUTH ANYMORE FILLS!!

No Restriction

I am getting mad because the scale say I have gain two pounds. I assume it's all the water I am drinking. Nevertheless it is bothering me. i won't drink any water for the rest of the night to see what happens. I do not need this!!

No Rain Please...

I really have to walk this afternoon and if it rains I will have to get on my treadmill:angry ! Yesterday I did 3 1/2 miles in less than 40 mins at the park, and I felt so good. If it doesn't rain I plan on walking 3 1/2 miles everyday, except tomorrow (class--2 miles on treadmill:angry ). I have to lose 10 pounds this month!!! So far I've lost 4, but more importantly I am 5 pounds from 1derland!!!:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: :clap2: So, needless to say I am eating A LOT less and working out VERY HARD. Menu---4/16 & 4/17 Breakfast: 1/2 of 1/3 less sugar Frosty Flakes w/ 2% milk. Lunch: Chips Dinner: Nothing

No Fill Today

Well I went in for my first fill, but when I told Dr. Harper what has been happening he decided today wasn't a good time. I was fine with that since I don't think I need one. If is't up to me I'd rather not have a fill...it's been eleven weeks and I'm still losing. So hopefully, I can go longer:phanvan. I had the Barium and it went straight through the band, so that was good. I thought my band had slipped, but it's in place:clap2: :clap2: :clap2:. Today's workout was tough on me, I walked my 3 1/2 miles, but I had on my plastic sweat suit and a jogging suit on top of that!!!:faint: :faint: :faint: I know I was wrong for that!! My legs were weak and I felt like I was going to past out and I think the temperature was in the 80's today:faint: :faint: but I kept going to the end. Tomorrow I will take it easy and no more double layered workouts!!   Be BLESSED!

No Dinner, Exercise or Class!

Well yesterday for lunch I had a grill chicken philly and I only ate the thin sliced chicken with the melted cheese and a little lettuce and I was done for the day! I was miserable...I had trapped gas or something. Even though the chicken was thin I still chewed and chewed. I didn't eat any dinner and to think about it I didn't have any breakfast. So I didn't feel like working out or going to my boring class. I went to church and I actually felt a little better. I took to Mylanta gas tablets and those things will get the gas out!! I don't like them that much, because the make me gag. Once I gag I burp...but afterwards I feel a LOT better. So this morning I am feeling normal, I will not have a grill chicken philly again. Today I will make sure I take it easy on the food, I will eat soft foods today. Be blessed!

New ME, NEW Year!!!

I thank my Lord Jesus for BLESSING me to see another year!! Thank you JESUS!!! I'm ready for a new attitude, mind, goals, to be a more understanding wife (submisive), SPIRIT, and a new me! I look forward to ALL the great things GOD have instored for me for HIS Glory!! Hallelujah!!! I will continue to let the Lord order my steps and even if I don't receive a word from you Father please help me to understand your plan for my life. Met With My Surgeon Today

Today I met with Dr. Madan and it went really well. He was very informative and nice; smooth talker. He said I have a small abodomen (woohoo), I was like thank you! I am still nervous about the whole thing!! :eek: :eek: I know it will be aight thought...God doesn't give me the spirit of fear! Well I have five more days to go until banded!!! I will give it my all to continue on the pre-opt diet!     Be BLESSED

May Goal

I am so happy that I'm living in 1DERLAND for the rest of my life!!! However, I didn't meet my April goal of 10 pounds (lost 9), so I will have to kick up for May. My goal for May is to lose 15 pounds, plus the 1 pound from April, so 16 pounds for the month of May:omg:! I can do it!!! I plan on doing more running than speed walking and no more RUFFLES:mad: !   Be Blessed!

March Goal!

I'm setting a goal to lose 15lbs this month!! I need to increase my cardio and also my EATING. I know I eat about 500 or less calories a day and that is not healthy. Yesterday I had a half of sausage w/ not even a half of "biscuit" and gravy for breakfast, no lunch and no dinner. I don't get hungry anymore. It has been seven weeks since surgery and I still have a lot of restriction.   Clothes update: I'm in a pair of pants I have worn in over two years!!!! :clap2: :clap2: I knew I wasn't suppose to throw them away!!!! Long Time No Write!

Hi everyone,   It's been awhile since I've been here. However, everything is going well...I've been taking Lipo6 and I can't tell a difference. I think it's because my workouts have been less and I've been eating a bit (that'll do it), but the good news is I haven't gained!! Anyway, today is my fourth day on liquids. As much as I hated this phase in the beginning it's working out good this time around for some reason. Maybe I am anxious about my 2 year anniversary on 10/1 and my birthday on 11/4. So I'm hoping I will be down about five pounds by Sunday when I weigh:embarassed:!! I just need to lose 16 MORE!!:faint: I think I can, I know I can...I CAN!!! Be blessed!

Lipo 6

I will be starting Lipo 6 on 8/11 to increase my weightloss. I have heard a lot of good things about it and hopefully it will work. I know Telly takes it and look at her!! So I will see. Be blessed!

LAP BAND DREAM

Hello everyone today is October 30th and I have finally sheduled an appointment with Dr. Mace Coday (psychologist) on Wednesday November 1st after her next opening was January 18! I go tomorrow to meet with the Jennifer Krog (nutritionist) and then my appoinment with the surgeon on November 3rd. For some reason I find myself waking up in the middle of the night scared out of my mind about the surgery. I have compared the risks and pain, but he benefits out weigh them both. I can't wait to wear a tank top with out coverng up my arms! I know someone knows what I mean...or putting on a long shirt to cover my stomach. I know the time will come...so until then I'll keep on covering up. Talk to you all later.   Sheila Marie;)

June Challenge

Well, since my first fill on 6/6/07 I've lost 4 pounds!!!!:clap2::clap2: So I will need to lose 8 more pounds to get back on track. I'm excited about being at my ultimate goal of 170 by the end of next month!!! Be blessed

It's Still There!

Well after using different remedies for what I thought was trapped gas. The only thing so far that has helped is the meat tenderizer, lemon juice and pineapple juice mixture. I did buy the Papaya Enzyme supplement by American Health at Wild Oats. I got the "super" Papaya Enzyme Plus and I can't tell a difference yet. I'm not sure if this is a good idea, but I just made another cup and I put two of the Papaya Enzyme tablets in it. I'm just trying to maximize my results, anyway I hope everything is going good for everyone else. This too shall pass.   Be Blessed!

It's Been a Minute Since I've Checked In...

Well hellooo!!! Well I've decided to check in since it has been a while. Well I'm about to wrap up the fall semester at school(THANK YOU JESUS!!) Now I can focus on my exercise. I do have somewhat of a trainer...I've been stuck at 183 for three months. I am vowing to be at my goal by January 11th. I go for my third fill on 12/19 (WOOHOO!). I can basically eat anything!! But I during the week I don't eat any solid food, and I have my protein shake (sugarfree choc syrup, sugarfree Blue Bell Great Divide, peanut butter, ice, and choc protein powder). It's my wanna be Reese's Peanut Butter cup shake. I do need to get more water in, I try to work out during the week, but it has been hard with work and school full time. Well I fell out because my sugar level was extremely low and I have been "trying" to eat more, but during the week I refuse too. I know that it is not healthy, but I will not gain back the weight I lost!!! NOT AT ALL!! Anyway I am suppose to be studying for a final exam in the morning. but this site helps me get motivated. I hope everyone is doing awesome!! Hi Sunshine2!!

It's Been A Minute

Hello Everyone,   I've been meaning to blog, but I've been so busy! But to catch you all up to speed, my band doesn't have a leak YAY! :biggrin: So, I'm still on the mushies by choice, and I love what I'm seeing, RESULTS!:w00t: I haven't had meat in a month almost, August 24th will be a month. So I'm working out seven days a week and staying focused! Until next time.   Keep the FAITH!
