2 POUNDS TIL 1-DERLAND!!!

I am sooo excited about 1derland!!! I have only 2 pounds until I get there!!!!!:clap2: :clap2: . However, I have 3 pounds to meet my April goal of 10 pounds!!! I'm going to try VERY hard to reach them both by tomorrow night. I know that's a lot of pressure, but I believe I can do it!!!! NO SOLIDS, only LIQUIDS!!! Be Blessed

Food Stuck?? Meat Tenderizer??

***I posted this thread and decided to add it to my journal.***   Hi everyone,   Lately I have been feeling like I have trapped gas for over a week. My doctor prescribed Prevacid 30mg, today is day three on it and no change. So last night I use an old remedy of baking powder and warm water. I felt okay for a few minutes, then it was back. Today I called the doctor again and ask the receptionist I could drink a little bit of diet coke to relieve the gas and Dr. Madan must have over heard her talking to me and said NO. He thinks some food is stuck, so he told me to go home and get some meat tenderizer and water (warm?) and drink it. He said it is not the best as far as taste goes (ya think?), but it will help break up any food that could be stuck. So I'm gonna try it tonight. Have anyone else heard of this "remedy"?   Be BLESSED! Sheila:help:

Two Years Ago Today

Wow I can't believe that 2yrs ago today I was preparing myself to be banded on January 11, 2007. Sooooo much has changed since then and I do mean SOOO much. But I thank God that most of the changes has been good changes. However there were others that were bad and scary. Just to elaborate a little my job was relocated and I had to find another, but thankfully I found one a week later. On a more personal note I have maintained my weight and exercise for almost two years. Although I am not at my goal of 170 I am working really hard on accomplishing that goal by January 11th 2009. In a few hours I will begin a new chapter in my life and I must admit that I am looking for to leaving a lot of people in 2008. I am looking forward to not being too nice, don't get me wrong, but when I say that I look forward to not being too nice, I mean to people that do NOT deserve me or my kindness....can you believe a very special person that I hold close to my heart said that me being too nice was "wierd" I was atonished! I'm like damn shivery is dead indeed! But that person is one of the ones that I plan on leaving in 2008(but I will need strength). Anyway I am getting to windy here so I wish everyone a Happy and FULL New Year(the #9 means fullness and FAT in the Hebrew language(I hope I got that right)) meaning that one will be full of blessings and it also means re-establishment and return. I expect God to re-establish me in 2009 and give me a return on everything that I have lost in the past years!!So Happy New Year and great blessings!!!   Be blessed!:thumbup:

Review

I called UHC just to check the status of my claim and I was told that it is being reviewed and I should have an anwser this week. I hope so, because I am ready to get going!! I have started on Adipex and I feel a lot better! I am eating very little a day (a little over 600 calories a day). Thank God...just wanted to give you an update.   Sheila   Be BLESSED!:girl_hug:

Forgot To Post On Yesterday Day 12 On Liquids

I am soooo proud of myself on 01/06/2012 I:   Ran three miles and walked three miles, which totaled 30 miles for the week! My goal is to complete 42 miles by Sunday 01/08/2012!!   I didn't do that well on getting my protein in, but I had:   Cream of mushroom soup (watery) Vitamins 60 oz of water Mexican style soup   God bless!

Oh MY Goodness!!

Okay, this morning I my journal entry say I need to lost 2 pounds to be in wonderland and I need to lost 3 pounds to meet my April goal of 10 pounds. Well,I went to church came home (I still haven't eaten) and went straight to the park. I stopped by the grocery store on my way home, and soon as I got in I got on the scale it is say: 200 POUNDS!!!!!!!!!!!!! So now I need to lose 1 pound to be in 1DERLAND and 2 pounds to meet my April goal of 10 pounds. I think I'm more excited to be in 1DERLAND than to meet my April goal! I can't beleive it I should be ARRIVING in 1DERLAND by tomorrow!! I took the advice from one of the celebrity trainers (I can't remember his name). He said it's good to work out on an empty stomach, so that's what I'll do. As for today I'm getting ready to have some soup!!! It feels like Christ-mas Eve today and tomorrow is Christ-mas!!   Be Blessed!

Work Out

This morning I worked out early, since I have errands to do today. I'm going to have to make time to work out, because I return to work Monday and I have class on MTWT and Saturday. I'll figure it out. Anyway things are going good!   Be Blessed!

Noooo restriction!!

Okay I have had 3 fills and I still don't have any restriction and I am starting to thing my band has eroded:cursing:!! But I pray that it has not. I have scheduled my 4th fill, but it is not til December 10th!:cry_smile:   Be blessed!   ***UPDATE!!!!**** MY 4TH FILL WAS CANCELED WITH DR. WEAVER (different Dr. and hospital)!!!!! NOT TO MENTION THAT UT MEDICAL NO LONGER HAVE A WEIGHT LOSS DEPARTMENT ANYMORE!! I HAD TO RESCHEDULE AND MISS DR. WEAVER IS CHARGING A 350.00 TRANSFER FEE!!! SO WHATEVER!! I WILL CONTINUE ON WITHOUTH ANYMORE FILLS!!

7th Fill on 03/10/2011

Hello everyone,   I had my 6th fill on August 10, 2010 and I had my seventh fill on March 10, 2011 and I thought I had some restriction. But not at all. So I'm really trying not to gain weight! So I've decided to do the low carb diet and see what happens.   Today is Day 1: I had 1 salmon (43 grams of protein) 1 Tilapia (23 grams of protein) and a cup of broccoli sauteed in Smart Balance

Day 3 on Semi-Liquid Diet

Alrighty today was much better on this pre-opt diet.   Breakfast: New Whey 42gr protein shot blended w/ice, 2 sugar free banana popsicles (2carbs each)& skim milk (really good).   Lunch: Not even a cup of tomato soup.   Dinner: 1-1/2 cup of Albondigas (mexican meatball soup) yummy! I did eat about five really small meatballs and veggies (oh well). New Whey 42gr protein shot blended w/ice, 2 sugar free banana popsicles (2 carbs each)& skim milk. I used a little Splenda in that one to make it sweeter.   Be Blessed!

UHC Approval!!

I am finally approved for the Lap Band!!! Yet still nervous and scared...point blank. I guess it's the whole idea of putting something inside me that do not belong. I feel like I am saying the same things over and over again, but I can't help it. I've had a breast reduction before so it's not the surgery that is bothering me. I don't know...I'm just scared:cry   Sheila Be BLESSED!

Down TWO More Pounds!!

I've lost two more pounds:clap2: yea:clap2: :clap2: :clap2: !!! I did walk three miles on yesterday and Saturday, so that contributed to the few pounds I lost over the weekend. I am happy!!! I'm back in my sexy jeans wooohooo!!!!   Be Blessed!   Sheila

Work Out

Well I'm another pound lighter!!! Finally after a week of workouts I've dropped another pound:clap2: I have 7 pounds to go to meet my March goal of 15lbs. I get my first fill on 3/28, I'm pushing to meet my goal by then:eek: !!     Work Out   Treadmill-2.03 miles previous record broken Time-33:00 needs improvement 31:49 or less Calories-263 previous record broken Fat Calories-82 needs improvement 84 or higher     Be Blessed!

Eleven Down and Too Much To Go!

Hello everyone,   I started on Adipex on 12/2, but before I started Adipex I was watching what I ate. So last night I weighed and "my" scale said 242! I'm thinking that can't be correct...but it is! I guess since I've been a little more discipline lately and exercising along with the Adipex it's starting to show. Oh by the way I am taking only half of the Adipex a day (it's too strong). So I updated my ticker for the first time!!! I hope I keep it up!:clap2:   Sheila   Be BLESSED!

Plateau Broken!!

I did it!! I broke the stupid plateau!! Yes!! I am down three more pounds!!!! 3 Weeks Banded

It has been three weeks since I was banded and I feel good! Thank you Jesus!!! I just finished a MAJOR workout while listening to Beyonce's "Get Me Bodied"! I feel GREAT! My weight loss is a stand still, some silly plateau that I am getting ready to get rid of! I got pounds to lose and I don't need anything slowing me down! The good thing is I have gained any weight! I had Tilapia and roasted mashed potatoes last night for dinner, leftovers today for lunch and dinner! I thought I didn't have that much restriction, but I do. More than anything I want to drink liquids, so I'm always drinking my water. Fruit H2O is the best, it was one of my favs three years ago. Anywayyyyyyy, I'm goin to bed early!   Be Blessed!

Double Cheeseburger & Fries!

Okay late last night after I got in bed I freak out about not eating some of my fav foods. So at 11:15PM I went tearing up the house for change, since my ATM card is deactivated (thank God). I found money and off to Wendy's I went! I ordered a double stack w/ extra mayo and medium fry! mane! I felt like an addict! Afterwards I wanted to cry, because I can't continue to mess up the pre-opt diet. So I feel really bad...I meet with the surgeon on 1/5 and I hope he won't notice:embarassed:. I don't know :phanvan. Starting today I will have ONLY liquids!   Be Blessed!

May Goal

I am so happy that I'm living in 1DERLAND for the rest of my life!!! However, I didn't meet my April goal of 10 pounds (lost 9), so I will have to kick up for May. My goal for May is to lose 15 pounds, plus the 1 pound from April, so 16 pounds for the month of May:omg:! I can do it!!! I plan on doing more running than speed walking and no more RUFFLES:mad: !   Be Blessed!

Post Opt Day 6

Hello everyone,   I am on day seven since surgery and it's going well. I can not seem to drink more than about 42 or so grams of protein. I will discuss that with the nutritionist today...other than that I drink Crystal Light and eat popsicle and chicken noodle broth. I haven't weighed, but I can tell a difference in my clothes and face. I assume they will weigh me today. Until next time, I will type ya later.   Be BLESSED!
