Well tomorrow is my big day! I get banded in the morning. I am a little nervous but so exited at the same time! I have lost about 12 pounds from the 2 week full liquid diet. I will keep you all posted as to how everything went and keep me in your prayers!
Well it has been a week since I have been banded and I must say it's not the way I thought it would be. I am starving!!!! I am sticking to the liquid diet like I should be but I am always hungry and I don't have any restriction. Is this normal??? Will I get the restriction I need once I get my fill?
Yey!!!! So I was banded on the 14th and I started my pre op diet on the 1st and in those 18 days I have lost 18 pounds!! I am doing great and have not much pain. Each day gets easier looking forward to the new me!
So today I started my 14 day pre op diet and I have saw post where people are blending everything. My Doctor told me to do stage 2 and keep it under 1,000 calories but I am not blending the food should I be? This morning I had egg beaters and fat free cottage cheese. For lunch I have light tuna and crackers and yogurt is this wrong? I am just doing what the book says and for dinner I am having baked fish and spinach and mushrooms. Should this stuff be blended even before the operation???
OK So I am new to this kinda but I want to know how I can get that BMI tracker thing on my page that all of you guys have I can't figure it out! Oh yeah and BTW, I have been approved for my operation on Dec. 14th I can't wait!!!!!
So today is the 29th day since I started my preop diet and I had my operation on the 14th and I am happy to say that I have lost 25 pounds!!! I can't believe it! I hope the weight keeps coming off like this. I am loosing about a pound a day and I do walk 30 min a day. Did anyone else's wieght come off like this? DOes it slow up or keep coming off?
So today is my 7th day and I am 10 lbs. down! I am so happy I don't know what to do! I must admit I have had some hard times like Sat. My daughter had her 9th birthday party and wanted KFC so I had to make all these plates of chicken, mashed patatos and gravy and mac and cheese! That was super hard!!!! I just wanted a bite, but stayed strong and I am telling you that is saying alot for me! I have worked out 2 times and that is also something new! So I just wanted to share and yes it is hard when everyone around you is eating but for me, what make it easy is thinking about this oppertunity I have coming up and how happy I will be in the long run and being able to play with my 9year old and 3 year old for once! They need me I am a single parent and want to see them have babies and graduate and so on... OK that's all I am going to say for now..
