I feel yucky....I have been doing pretty good on the liquids and today I decided to eat a little something and now I'm in pain. Went to my hubby's class reunion and ate like a dumb A$$. All I took was about 4 to 6 bites and now I feel like crap. I'm not making that mistake again til Dr. says to start soft phase.. What was I thinking....Oh that's right I wasn't.....
Went for my 1st Dr. visit since I was banded on the 19th. It went good lost about 18lbs since. the 11th. I can start eating solids. I get my 1st fill on the 3rd of Dec. I hope I can continue to loss weight between now and the fill. Wish me luck....
Well my band date is Oct 19th. I'm starting to get butterflies. I know this is the right thing to do but it's so scary. I start my liquid pre-op on Monday. Wish me luck.......:frown:
I need some advice. I'm not sure how to tell people I have been banded. I do not want to lie but I don't want to hear all the B.S. either. I realize it's not anyone business but people are starting to ask questions. My family is very supportive but my husband feels it isn't anyone business. How did you all handle it.....HELP
Day 5 post-op....I'm feeling a little blah. I'm tired of the same liquids....YUCK....Thank goodness I'm not really feeling hungry. I cooked last night for the 1st time and I was very proud that I didn't want to eat what I had cooked. My family has been great through all this. I'm ready for the SOFT phases.....:smile2:
It's been almost 3 weeks since I was band. Well I'm starting to feel a little down. I haven't lost any weight in the last week. What am I doing wrong? I'm getting my protein and eating a small portion and drinking my water. HELP...!!
I feel great...Still a little sore around the port area but other than that I feel awesome. I still can't get all the liquids down but doing better. I have lost 12.2 lbs which is WONDERFUL....I'm still trying to decided how to tell people that I was banded. Good luck to everyone that is on their new journey.
Today is day 4 post op. I'm feeling pretty good. The muscle were the port is hurts a little but other that that I'm pain free. I'm trying my best to get all the liquid down but don't always do it. I'm looking forward to shedding the pounds.:smile2:
Had my pre-op appt. Started my 2 protein shacks and 1 low carb high protien diet in 10/12. So far so good. I do real good for breakfast and lunch but I'm starving by dinner..... I hope I can do this.
Well I go back to work tomorrow after being off for 2 weeks. I'm a little scared about getting all the liquids. I feel great, but still a little sore at the port site. I haven't told the people I work with that I was banded. YIKES......
