25 lbs down and counting

My first blog a few weeks ago was about beling stalled at losing 12 lbs. I'm happy to report now that 7 weeks out of surgery, I've lost 25 lbs. The difference for me came with intense exercise. I do water aerobics 2x per week along with spin class 3x per week and even a bootcamp class 1x per week. Yep, that's 6 days per week.   For me, my body adjusted quickly to eating smaller portions and decided to hang on to it and not budge an inch. After I added the intense exercise or as my friend calls my workout plan, "beast workout" my body has decided to learn to burn the fat.   I am 265 lbs but yes I do all of these exercises. I wouldn't have thought I could, but I push myself and even have a group of friends that go to the gym and work out with me. I honestly thought that this journey would be easier. I thought initially I would just lose lots of weight because of eating smaller portions. WRONG! For me, the real change didn't come until I added the exercise. Now I've averaged at least 2 lbs per week weight loss and am very proud of that.   I had my first fill 3 weeks ago and really don't notice a difference. I still get pretty hungry between meals but I've learned how to eat fruit or nuts to get me through. I'm looking forward to getting to that sweet spot when I don't have real hunger between meals.

Frustarated

I was so excited over my initial weight loss of 12 lbs for my first 2.5 week check up. But since then, I have lost maybe 1/2 lb. I'm eating good, exercising and still no more loss. I have not had a fill yet but i feel that on my own, i've lost more. I drink a protein shake everyday for breakfast, Have veggies and chicken or fish for lunch, and pretty much the same for dinner. I started at 283 so surely i should be losing more with the little "bird" size servings I'm eating. my exercising is light, short walks and recently i've added swimming. True enough, I'm not breaking a sweat while exercising, but still, it's more than i was doing. HELP someone, point me in the right direction and help me with foods to eat to restart my system. I'm afraid my body is thinking it's ok to just eat that amount and not lose weight.
