Okay, so I am about four weeks out from the surgery and doing well. I have lost 35 lbs...YAY! For the last week or so, I had lost that post-op "full" feeling and was able to eat almost anything. I wasn't eating nearly as much as I would have before the surgery but I don't think it was the band that was keeping me from overeating but more my paranoia of getting stuck and/or throwing up. Needless to say, it was time for a fill.
So, at the doc's office, lie down, tighten abdomen, fluid in, no biggie. Although, I will say that I could FEEL the fluid going in which was a little weird. I told the nurse that I could already feel a difference. She asked me how it felt but I couldn't really put a word to it. She looked at me like I might be a little crazy but I'm okay with that  Stuck around the office and drank the obligatory two cups of water. Even after the water, I was feeling full. I attributed it to my having eaten a salad about an hour before my appointment.
So, although I wasn't hungry, I just had "dinner" that consisted of about 1/3 cup of broth and I don't think I could have another drop. Feeling REALLY reflux-y. I don't want or need to vomit but I guess I thought I would be able to get more down.
So, being new to this, I have to ask, is this normal? Is it that it is my first fill and the feeling subsides in a couple days or is this the sign of an overfill? I know everyone responds differently to the LB but any insight would be appreciated.
Oh, and BTW, don't make fun of me but I have to ask.....what are PBing and sliming? I have read those words on many posts and I have no idea what they are talking about! Sliming sounds like something that happens in a show on Nickelodeon I am soooo not familiar with the jargon yet!
