I Am Thinking About It?

I have lost 70 pounds since I was banded in 2009. I am very proud and doctor says I am doing good. But now I have that exessive skin hanging over and when its hot out I sweat and to me its smells. Even though I have not been told that I smell. But maybe its just me . . So I went to see a plastic surgent for a tummy tuck. But now I am scare and believe that hurts a lot. I have seen it on you tube. And it seens like it. Waiting for the doctor to call me back.   But no ones really knows how I feel because they are not going though it. So I asked my lap banders that know what I am talking about what do you think?

Back from vacation

Well it went better than what I expected. My first two days where the hardest I threw up 2 times a day.:tt1: But then the 3rd day I had a better handle on it. I even went to the gym to work out. I found that lunch was the hardest to pick what to eat but I was able to manage. I did alot of walking which I found help. The 2 islands we visit where hot and beautiful. And once I got home that I weight myself I lost 3 pounds. Which made me happy. So see you can go on an cruise and enjoy it.

First Thanksgiving with band not to bad.

My first Thanksgiving started by drinking my protein shake then off to do errands. After my runing around back home and started getting ready. Make potatoe salad with low fat mayonnaise, then salami, cheese and olives roll up, (MY KIDS LIKE THAT) I did good only ate 3 very hard but i did. My sister maded the turkey and rice and beans. My daughter macaroni salad and corn bread also jello with fruit and dont let me forget jello shots. My other sister did macaroni and cheese and lettuce, cucumber and tomato salad. Well you get the idea lots of food. Then for dessert pumpkin, apple, sweet potatoe pie. Well here comes the time to sit and eat and hope I didn't started choking. I am happy to say I did good small spoon of rice and beans, small pieces of turkey (did not want to choke:cursing:) small spoon of potatoe salad and then my cranberry juice not bad. Then later on very small piece of pumpkin pie. I am very proud to say nothing came back up and no choking :cool2:. So see you can eat just in small amounts and very slow. We see what Christmas brings. LOL     Created by MyFitnessPal.com - Free Calorie Counter

Coming along

Its a month and 1/2 since my band. And I lost 26 pounds. Thank you very proud. Not easy but getting better. If I can stick to the execise would be better. lol But I still very happy. Dealing with the limit of food. See the clothes getting big. And face getting thinner. My rings falling off my fingers. :thumbup:Very happy of my decision that I got the band done.

Moving on a month later.

I was banded on 10/02/09 lost 22 pounds so far which I find is great. Its not easy but these are choices you have to make. And live with it. But I am so happy. Still on soup and mushie foods. Dealing with that too its not bad once you figure out what to eat or not eat. Any body feeling the same way? Have not decided yet to join the gym yet.
