It has been a little over 3 months since I was banded, and things are going great. Every once in a while I, don't chew well enough, and then I feel the uncomfortable side affects. I have lost 60 pounds. I was wearing a size 28 in jeans, and as of yesterday I can wear a size 18! I know that without my mom by my side the whole entire time, I would not have been ale to go on! There have been many time that I have cried over what I know I cant eat. Its all been a learning process. I have managed so far not to gain any weight (thank God!! ), but I find my self getting frustrated because I feel that I haven't lost enough weight! I think my main fear is that I will go back o weighing 346pounds!And I NEVER want to be that big again in my life! Being 16 years old with the lab band is very much difficult but I would not change it for the World!!!!!!!!
Well I am 16 years old and I was banded on September 17,2009 and so far it has been the hardest thing in my life. I dont go for my next fill until october 14, 2009. All and all I think I am doing well except for this slight pain in my upper left stomach.. Im nervous because I dont want my band to had slipped! has anyone ever experienced pain like this???
