Please help me figure this out!!

 Hi Everyone, On Friday it will be three weeks since I had my surgery. I read here from other people that they have lost 27 pounds in three weeks and that makes me feel that I am not doing something right. I only eat 3 time a day as my doctor told me to do and I have been walking at least an hour daily. I started at 165 and now I am at 149. What is the range to be in at 3 weeks post-op? I will have my first fill in about 10 days, for now I don't feel any restriction at all but I do watch my portions very carefully Except once or twice cheating event that I still regret. Thanks

DOWN day my friends :(

I went for my first post op and everything was great. I have lost 10 pounds since my surgery 11 days ago. Today is another story, I am feeling so down and can't figure out how to deal with it. I went for a long walk, had my soft food, and then started having desire to cheat and attack anything that I get my hand on   I haven't had any fills yet so I didn't feel full after my cheat!! I hate myself now and so I am about to take a cool shower and go for another looooooooooooong walk. I WILL NOT DO THIS TO MYSELF AGAIN.

My 6th day post op, I cheated today :(

Hi Everyone, Today is my 6th day post op. I have been following the orders as much as possible but today I was determined to cheat! I made some rice with tomato soup!! very soft and I chewed the entire thing about thirty times before sending it down but the scary part is that I didn't feel full or felt any discomfort after finishing a whole cup of rice. SO now I am horrified that maybe I have damaged my band by over eating that whole cup. Please tell me what you think? I am a food addict and six days having those shakes have made me feel so disgusted that I just needed to have a little bit of real food.

Finally, the scale is moving faster!

I have to say this is the first in my adult life . I had a very stressful week and unlike every other time that I managed it by stuffing my face with food, I had no appetite to eat and actually lost 4 pounds. Having this band on since five weeks ago has allowed me to learn to eat on time, enjoy every bite, and be in control. Of course there are times that my head orders me to eat more and more but I just stop because for the first time in a long time, I feel I am in control and I just love that feeling. Hope you are all feeling good today too.

My band & I are now good friends!!

:smile2:Going into 4th week post op and waiting to get my first fill on Friday, I have completely figured how to treat my new friend and loving every minute of it. I feel so lucky to have had this surgery and feel better and better about my health, my look, and everything else around me. Thank you to everyone here in this site who have helped me by sharing their experiences. All the best to all of you.

TO GET OR not get a fill? Please help me decide

I have been banded for 3 months. I have had 2 fills, with the 2nd fill I felt I still could eat small portion like I am supposed to but had a hard time with few foods. I can no longer eat any kind of bread which has always been my #1 problem so in that way the 2nd fill has been a great help to me but I can still eat a lot of food if I am not watching it very carefully. I have lost about 25 pounds so far. I am affraid if I get another fill I won't be able to eat anything but liquid and if I don't I am still not that restricted except for few kind of foods. Not sure what to do in my next appointment. Thanks in advance for any advise.

Ticker question/please help

I have created and saved my ticker but still it's not showing on my blogs. Do you have to go back to the edit signature and insert it or copy paste it every time you start a blog or it should appear automatically if i have saved it?   Thanks

One month post op / had my first fill

:smile: I had my first fill today. It was much easier than I thought, actually , I didn't feel a thing! I am going to start working out twice daily, one hour walk in the morning and one hour later in the afternoon. So excited about my band! It feels so good to have control over eating now, it's becoming easier everyday. Have a great weekend everyone!

I now know what it means to get stuck :(

:ohmy:It was so painful. I chewed my chicken over and over but sent it down too fast and it got stuck. It was the worse feeling ever! especially being alone at home, I thought I was going to die and by the time my family comes home I am dead. I need to work on not eating too fast. Still love my band more and more everyday!     Surgery : 33 days ago   Start weight: 165   Now: 149 (same in the last two weeks)
