Hi all I just wanted to check in and let you all know how my journaey has been. I was banded in Mexico by Dr. Lopez Corvala. My stats: day of surgury 198 (6/26/09)
4 days post op lost 4.5 lbs
I want to encourage people to make this transition. I am not here to say that is was a cake walk. It was trying at times but all worth it. I'm oplen for questions......I feel good. I am still on clear liquids...I am having some pain in my shoulder but not using any pain meds. I also want to let you know that I had a hitatial hernia that was also repaired. I have taken a week off work even though I feel like I could return in a couple of days. I am glad to be at this place in life. I miss binging but have found a deeper place in myself that keeps me going. I look ahead at what I want and not what i am letting go of....No regrets....
Looking for people who got banded june 2009.....I have hit a plateau for the last three weeks.....getting first fill in three days....looking for people to share with me..
Looking for suggestions to get through bandster hell.....does everyone exercise and how often....I have been walking but have stopped in the last few weeks....haven't lost any weight...feeling discouraged....is this normal?
